I smile as Rafe sits down next to me on the couch passing me the popcorn. "Thank you love" I say and he turns to me with a bright smile. "Of course angel"
We both share the popcorn as we watch tv. I adjust my seat and the tv screen changes to a different channel. "Hey!" Rafe says. I laugh "my bad I must have sat on the remote" he chuckles and I look at the tv to see the news on.
"Sheriff Peterkin has been killed last night at 2:20 pm at a courtyard, we have yet to know who killed her and how she was killed, we will update you if we are notified of anything else." I widen my eyes and look at Rafe and he just stares at the tv. He must be in shock.
"Oh my god, I can't believe this" Rafe continues to stare at the tv and I nudge his shoulder. He snaps out of it and stares at me and shows me a faint smile. "Sorry" I nod at him. "She helped me with a lot." I say looking down.
Rafe wraps his arm around my shoulder "it's okay y/n." I smile at him and lean my head on his shoulder. "It must've been so brutal getting shot in the stomach." Rafe says. "yeah for sure" I say and look down.
Wait. The news lady said she didn't know how she died, It can't be. I feel tears come out of my eyes and I look up at Rafe and he's already staring at me smirking. "R-Rafe, she said she didn't know how Sheriff Peterkin died" I say shakily. Rafe looks down smirking and says,
"I know"
