I want my mom.

I don't even like fishing so how did I get dragged into this trip? I look over at my two dumbass friends and sigh, that's how. Hwasang is high so he doesn't have a care in the world and Keeho is just happy to be here.

Uncle Yeosang: Was it necessary to rent this bigass bus?
Uncle San: Well duh, how else would all of us make it to the destination?

My dad yawns.

Shownu: In separate cars.
Uncle San: I thought about that but it takes away from our bonding.
Uncle Seonghwa: I've been through six or so books with you I've think we bonded a fucking 'nough!

Uncle San tsks.

Uncle San: See Hwa, that tempers of yours is still sour after all these years.
Hwasang: He gotcha' there dad.
Uncle Seonghwa: I let out my frustrations, you're a pothead.
Hwasang: Hey!
Me: He gotcha' there.

Hwasang sticks his tongue out.

Hwasang: At least im not that mysterious, emo hard on the outside soft on the inside type.

Uncle Yeosang and I say "hey" at the same time.

Me: At least I don't cry and complain all day.
Keeho: You got something you wanna' say to me?
Me: Screw off.
Uncle San: Now, now guys. We'll be to our destination in the next thirty minutes.
Xiaojun: You said that thirty minutes ago. Are you lost?

Uncle San chuckles nervously making my Godfather fly up to the front.

Uncle Seonghwa: San you idiot! You've been driving in a circle?
Uncle San: Uh, are you guys just now noticing.

Yuta and Xiaojun's eyes both widen.

Xiaojun: I'm going to kill him.
Leedo: So I take it we can't stop for snacks?
Hajoon: Wake me up when we get there.
Keeho: If we get there.

Eventually we did get there, a hour and a half later because Uncle San was driving away from said destination. Thankfully the facility had cabins and we didn't have to sleep outside because that would've been my thirteenth reason.

A loud scream makes me sigh. I already know who it is so there's no point turning around.

Uncle Yeosang: Jooheon stop being such a baby!
Jooheon: It's moving!
Me: Dad it's a worm, it's going to move.
Jooheon: I'm going to faint. Isn't there some bait that's already dead?

Uncle San shakes his head.

Uncle San: Nope! So take your fishing like and push the worm on there.
Jooheon: You want me to do what with what?

Uncle San demonstrates making the man-baby cringe.

Jooheon: Daniel hook my line.
Me: Why me?
Jooheon: Because you have to listen to your parent.

I turn to my other dad.

Me: Can I decline?
Kihyun: Access granted.
Jooheon: You spoil him!
Minhyuk: Don't be such a baby.

Once we head down to the river we see a giant boat waiting for us. There's already an experience captain that will take hold of the boat while we're on the water. Thank God because Uncle San driving a boat would've ended very, very horribly.

Keeho: The fish are being picky today. Maybe they don't want worms.
Hwasang: I think I'm getting seasick.
Me: Hold it in, your throw up will scare them away.

Leedo chuckles.

Hajoon: Your dad isn't doing too good Wonnie.
Me: Which one?
Hajoon: Hyungwon.
Me: Ah yeah, he gets motion sickness easy. He's probably fighting for his life right now.

Wooyoung begins to squeal once his line get caught. Uncle San rushes over to help him reel it in but the fish is fighting back.

Xiaojun: Are we even sure that's a fish at this point?
Yuta: Who knows?
Uncle San: Come help us!

All four of the men pull and pull but unfortunately go flying backwards once they lose to the unknown fish. We rush over to look at the creature and it's already getting away with the fishing pole.

Me: That definitely wasn't a normal fish.
Wooyoung: My back hurts.

Uncle Seonghwa walks over with a smug expression, he holds up his fish making me frown.

Me: That's like a goldfish.
Uncle Seonghwa: His name is nemo.

I chuckle.

The rest of the trip spent less time fishing and more time eating and talking. Nightfall comes and we all sit outside looking at the stars. The adults pass around beers while Keeho insisted we pass around s'mores.

Chenle: I wonder what the girls are doing.
Keeho: I miss Lex.
Hwasang: Someone's in love.

He laughs.

Keeho: Speaking of love, how's Hana?
Hwasang: She's good. She's in Japan with her Grandmother right now.
Me: That's why you've been so clingy to us.
Hwasang: Shut up!

Leedo and Hajoon hold hands while pointing and looking up at the sky. I wasn't a fan of either one of them but I'm happy they found someone in each other. We're still not the best of friends but it's a start.

I look over and see Uncle Hongjoong has Yuta in a headlock. Cousin tingz.

Although, I'm really happy I was born into such a family.
