Eevee let their eyes stay closed for a while. He didn't know if he was still being teleported.
They only knew by hearing another voice."Oh god, what are we gonna do?" a female-sounding voice says. Eevee finally decides to open his eyes.
'Am I in a cave?' Eevee thinks to himself. He continues to look around this place, having tons of questions going through his mind.
He notices a Growlithe sitting next to him. 'Is he, checking my pulse?' Eevee thinks, very confused. The Growlithe suddenly looks up at him. They lock eyes for a split second. Instant relief fills their eyes.
"They're awake!" they yell. "Oh thank everything!" the other Pokémon yells back.
"Wh-where am I?" Eevee says to the Growlithe. "I wish I knew that." they reply. "You don't know?" Eevee says, getting up. "Yeah." the Growlithe says, also getting up.
Suddenly, a Mareep turns the corner and looks at Eevee. "Thank goodness you're alive. We just found you in a forest fainted." she says, walking towards him."Wow, thank you," Eevee says. "No problem." the Growlithe says. "So what's your name?" the Mareep asks.
Eevee couldn't remember. Why couldn't he remember? Although, he did remember one nickname he has."My name is Eevee." He says. "Well, it's a fitting name for you." the Growlithe says.
"H-huh?" He says, looking at his paw. He was an Eevee again. A silence filled the room.
"I meant, your real name." the Mareep says. "Oh, I can't remember," Eevee says, still trying to remember his name. 'Maybe the teleportation messed with my brain' Eevee thinks."You, don't remember?" the Mareep says. "Y-Yeah." Eevee replies. "Wow, this Pokémon is really confused." the Mareep whispers to the Growlithe.
"Actually-" Eevee gets interrupted by a voice that fills the cave."They're over here!" someone yells. "Oh no." the Growlithe says. "We're trapped, further into the cave would result in death." the Mareep says.
"What in the absolute HECK is going on?" Eevee says.
Just then, a voice interrupts their conversation. "Well, let us tell you." the voice says. The room got eerily silent as 3 Pokémon walk into the room. The assumed leader, a Marowak, starts talking. "This world has a weird rule of life, if there is some sort of otherworldly creatures, the world will fall apart."
'This is a trap' Eevee thinks. 'This is just a distraction' Eevee looks around, wondering how to escape this situation as fast as they can.
He listens carefully to his surroundings, waiting for some sort of sound to give away someone preparing to attack them. Then, he heard it. Someone charging up a flamethrower.
"Down now!" Eevee screams and tackles the Mareep and Growlithe. Just then, flames shot out from where they were before.
Now he knew what had to happen next, either they fight their way out of here or go deeper into the cave.Eevee wished he could think about it for a second, but they were already charging a second attack so, he decided to go deeper into the cave.
"Cmon!" He grabbed both the Growlithe and the Mareep and ran deeper into the cave as a second wave of attacks followed close behind them.
"But this is super dangerous!" the Mareep yelled. "Is the gosh darn rescue team trying to KILL us any better!?" the Growlithe replied.
"How did they see that coming?" one of the rescue team members says as they chase after them."Do you have anything that can cause an explosion?" Eevee asks, already thinking of a plan out of this situation.
"Why would we have that?" Growlithe replies. "Lemme check the bag," Mareep says, quickly rummaging through it while running. "Well, this is called a 'Blast seed' so here!" Mareep says handing Eevee the seed."Please just work like some sort of grenade," Eevee says to himself while throwing it behind him.
They hear a crack then an explosion as the seed blows up, causing rocks to fill the tunnel behind them, saving them from their pursuers but causing another problem to come up."Cool, now we're trapped!" Mareep says. "It's fine, there's gonna be another way out of here," Eevee says, trying to sound confident that this was true.
"Let's hope." Growlithe says, taking time to stop running and look around.Eevee was about to sit down when the Mareep pointed at his tail and gasped.
"Huh?" Eevee says looking at his tail. It was on fire."So that's where all the light was coming from." Eevee says, quickly picking up a stick and lights it on fire using his ablaze tail, then burying his tail in some loose rocks and dirt.
"How are you so chill about this?" Mareep says, watching his every move.
"It wasn't hurting me or anything, just pretty cool." Eevee replies, pulling out his tail once the fire was completely smothered. With only the stick lighting the way, the room became much darker.
"Guys, I think I see light!" Growlithe says, running back to them.
"Wow, I thought we were trapped." Mareep says, following Growlithe with Eevee close behind.
They turn the corner to see a glowing stone. 'I'm guessing that's a light stone.' Eevee says."Wow, a light that isn't your cool little torch!" Growlithe says, picking up the stone.
Eevee steps away from the stone. Nobody seemed to notice."Let's just put it in the bag and let's keep going." Mareep says, taking it from Growlithe's paws and putting it in her bag.
"Hey!" Growlithe says, playfully tackling Mareep to the ground.
They roll around on the ground, trying to get the upper hand on the other Pokémon.Eevee notices a fourth figure in the cave.
'Oh no, it's an Onix.' Eevee thinks to himself, ready for a battle.
"Guys!" He yells, stopping their 'fight'."What?" Growlithe says, before looking where Eevee was and freezes.
Mareep seemed to notice the Onix too."Quickly, put this on!" Mareep says, tossing him a futuristic looking bracelet.
"What does this do?" Eevee says.
"We're about to find out!" Mareep says as the Onix comes charging at them.* * *
