The Last Goodbye

Amu suddenly spotted a store and she grabbed Ikuto's arm. She bounced up and down. "Ikuto Ikuto Ikuto!!!" She shouted. He looked at her, a small chuckle escaping his mouth. She pointed at the store. "Can we go in there!!?" She asked. Ikuto looked at the store and smiled as he nodded. She squealed and dashed off into the store. She gasped at all the stuff in there. She grabbed a bracelet with pink bands and black ruffles. She then spied a cute black and midnight blue shirt with Ikuto's band name on it!! She ran over to it and pulled it off the rack. "Oh my gosh!!" She gawked. Ikuto strolled up to her. "Oh I see you found my merchandise." Ikuto said casually. Amu looked up at him, her mouth wide open. "No way!! You have your band name on things now!!?" She asked. Ikuto nodded. She smacked his arm a little. "You never told me!!" She said. Ikuto chuckled. "You want one?" He asked. Amu got stars in her eyes. "Can I!!?" She asked. Ikuto smirked and nodded, pulling out $20. Amu gave him the puppy eyes and held up 3 fingers. He sighed. "Sheesh women your gonna make me go broke!" He teased. She curled her lip and he pulled out a $10. Amu was immediately happy and jumped on him in a floppy hug. "Thank you Ikuto!!" She shouted with glee. He chuckled and shushed her. She got down and grabbed the bracelet and shirt and went to go buy them. The cashier lady smiled. "Black Lynx band is popular with you young ladies." She said. Amu felt something inside her suddenly get angry at the thought of millions of girls all over Ikuto. She shook the feeling away and nodded. "Yeah..." She said. Ikuto then came up to her and smiled. "Ready?" He asked. The cashier's eyes widened and she blushed in embarrassment. "Oh I'm sorry I didn't realize that you were Amu... My apologizes ma'am." She said. Amu looked at her a little confused. She tilted her head. "Huh?" She asked. "Not to mention I forgot that you two were a thing now, you must be a very lucky girl miss Hinamori." The cashier blabbed. Amu glared. "Excuse me can you just ring up my items please." She asked annoyed. She didn't know why the cashier was talking about her and Ikuto but she didn't like it! She just wanted to get her stuff and leave with Ikuto. Ikuto chuckled and put his arms around her shoulder. "Sorry she's a bit shy when it comes to our relationship. She doesn't like to talk about it." Ikuto winked and then smiled while putting a finger to his lips. The cashier blushed more and rang up Amu's items. After the shopping trip Amu and Ikuto walked back to the tour bus. Everyone else was still out. It was just Amu and Ikuto. Amu sighed and sat down on the couch in the bus. "How much of your contract do you have left?" She asked. Ikuto sighed. "It's a tricky matter." He shrugged. Amu pursed her lips. "What do you mean by tricky?" She asked. Ikuto sighed as he stretched out on the couch. He draped his arms across the back of the couch. Amu looked at him. "It's a complicated contract... don't worry about it." He said, staring off into space. Amu pouted. She didn't like Ikuto keeping secrets from her!! "Ikuto why won't you tell me!?" She asked. Ikuto looked at her. Her face was sad and pleading. He smiled sadistically as he fondled with a strand of her hair, focusing on it. After a moment Amu grabbed his hand and he looked at her eyes. "Ikuto..." She whispered. He smiled a little bigger and cupped her face. She looked at him. Were they going to kiss?! Amu thought about it. Were they dating? What was their relationship status? "Ikuto, are we dating?" Amu asked. Ikuto stopped. Their noses brushing against each other. Their breath mingled as neither one spoke. Ikuto thought about her question. Were they dating? Not technically... but they could start at anytime all she had to do was give him permission and he'd ask. Finally Ikuto broke the silence. "Do you think we are?" He asked, he wanted to know her side. What did she think of the question. Amu stayed silent, thinking about it. They did couple like things but Ikuto never asked to start a dating relationship so she had stayed sort of quiet on the issue. "I... I think we act like a couple..." She finally concluded. Ikuto smiled. "Do you want to start dating?" He asked. Amu caught her breath. Did she? She did! "Yes..." She paused. "But we won't see each other for a while!!" She added. Ikuto stayed there until he finally moved away. "True." He said. He didn't think they should progress their relationship unless they could fully be together but then again... "5 more months and I shall make you mine!!" He stated. Amu blushed and nodded. "But just because we're not dating yet doesn't mean I won't kiss you!" He said teasingly before grabbing her chin and pulling her into a smooth passionate kiss. She stiffened but soon relaxed and leaned up into the kiss. Ikuto smirked and pulled away. Amu had pink tinting her cheeks, the usual blush that only Ikuto could bring out in her. "Ikuto..." She muttered. He smirked. "I love-" suddenly Yaya burst in, surprising Amu and Ikuto. Soon the others came in as well. Amu turned red and scooted away from Ikuto a little. Utau caught her eyes and raised an eyebrow. Amu blushed and looked away. Utau sighed and rolled her eyes. "Yaya is done sight seeing with Kairi!" Yaya cheered. Rima nodded. "I'm ready as well." She added. "Yeah same..." Utau commented. Amu's heart rate sped up. She had to leave Ikuto again!!! She clutched his hand. He smiled down at her. "Well then... Amu?" He said pulling her outside. Once outside by themselves Amu hugged him tightly. "I wish I could stay here with you but I have 2 months of tour left!" She complained. Ikuto shushed her. "Don't worry your tour will go by fast and then you'll have 3 more months till we're back together again! Smile for me Starwberry!" Ikuto said. Amu sighed and nodded. "Ok..." She mumbled before giving a weak smile. Ikuto smiled and hugged her, putting his chin on top of her head. She wrapped her small arms around him as well. After awhile she giggled. Ikuto pulled away to question her. "Sorry, I was just thinking of how we met..." She giggled again. Ikuto smirked. "The simple days." He commented. She nodded. "I hated you so much back then... Now I lo-" She suddenly stopped unsure if she should say it. She blushed as Ikuto awaited her words. He smirked understanding why she had stopped. Just as he was about to change the subject for her she spoke up. "Now I love you!!" She confessed as she squeezed her eyes shut and blushing madly, looking down at her feet. Ikuto smiled a true smile and cupped her face. "I love you too Amu." He murmured. She opened her eyes and looked back up at him. She was a bit surprised but she was glad at the same time. She smiled. "I'm going to miss you so much!!!" She admitted before hugging him. He chuckled and hugged her back. "As will I..." He trailed off. "Amu get a move on!!" Utau shouted from the tour bus. Amu sighed and pulled away. "Let me see your phone!" Amu said. Ikuto was confused but gave her his phone. She typed something and he smiled. "I already have you number..." He teased. She smiled and looked back up at him. "And now you have my email too!" Ikuto smiled and kissed her nose. "Thank you strawberry!" He coed.
