The concert and a confession

Amu sighed and paced. "Amu its going to be fine." Ikuto said coming up from behind her and griping her shoulders. She squeaked in surprise and turned around to see him. He smirked at her. "Ikuto I'm scared to preform in front of all these people!" She said. Ikuto smiled reassuringly at her. "It's okay Amu you've sang in front of crowds before, why is this one any different?" He said. Amu blushed and nodded. She hugged him. "Thank you Ikuto." She was just feeling anxious but as soon as Ikuto smiled her nervousness went away. She had nothing to worry about if Ikuto was right next to her. Ikuto smiled his genuine smile before walking away. Amu sighed in a daze until Rima smacked her. "Ow! Rima!!!" Amu shouted as she glared at her. She held her cheek where Rima smacked her. Rima sighed. "If you like him so much then just tell him already!" Rima explained. "I don't like him like that!!" Amu yelled as her face turned red. "Oh that's right your probably in love with with him." Rima smirked. Amu turned so red steam exploded out of her ears. (Anime style) Rima shook her head and walked away. "I-I d-don't love h-him either!!!!" Amu screamed after her. "Amu don't scream at people you'll hurt your voice." Ikuto said walking up behind her. She turned around and her blush spread. "Sorry." She mumbled before dashing away to busy herself with work. Ikuto walked after her. "Amu are you okay? Are you still nervous about the concert?" Ikuto asked. Amu blushed. "N-no it's just.... nothing never mind it's rather silly to say." She said waving her hand up and down. Ikuto raised an eyebrow. "Amu you can tell me. It's okay I won't shoot you down." He tried to reassure her. She blushed. "It's-it's just....." She trailed off as she noticed that everyone was trying to listen in on their conversation. "Can we go somewhere private for a second?" She asked looking up at him. He smiled. "Of course, come on follow me." He said before leading her to a small room in the back. "Now what is it you wanted to say to me." He asked. Amu bit her lip. "It's just..... I Uh I Ummmm..." Amu was blushing so hard. She looked down at her feet. "What is it?" He asked. Amu sighed and finally looked at Ikuto. "I just wanted to wish you good luck at the concert." She said. Ikuto stared at her. "But Amu your singing with me." He laughed. She turned pink. "I-I know! I just wanted to wish you good luck in private before we go up on stage that's all!" She said crossing her arms and looking away. Ikuto laughed and hugged her. "Awww Amu is that really what you wanted to say!?" He teased. Amu blushed and stood still before relaxing and hugging him back. "Sh-shut up, we b-better get g-going!" She stutter out. Ikuto smirked. "No I like hugging my Amu!" Ikuto pouted. Amu blushed even more. "I-Ikuto!" She said shocked. "What?" He asked with a smug grin as he continued to hug Amu. "Ikuto quit hugging me already..." She half whispered. "Why? I don't want to let go of you, for some reason I like being around you." He said. Amu's face went a deep red. "Wha--what are you saying!?" She squirmed around in his arms. Ikuto sighed. "You're so dense, I told you I'm in love with you." Ikuto said. Amy immediately ceased her movements and look at Ikuto who stared back at her. "Y-your in love with me?" She asked in a hushed voice. Ikuto smirked and Amu got angry. "You dummy, don't joke around with me like that!!!" She shouted. Ikuto laughed and let go of her. "Silly Amu I'm not joking, see you at the concert." He said winking at her before leaving. Amu stood there speechless. 'Silly Amu I'm not joking' the words echoed around in her head. When it finally registered she turned red and clenched her have into fists. "IKUTO HOW DARE YOU!!!!" She shouted extremely loud that when she came out of room everyone was completely silent. Amu cleared her throat. "Carry on." She said before walking away. Nobody moves as they kept staring at her. "What are you people looking at!!??" She yelled angrily. They all instantly busied themselves with work. Once got to the stage she saw Ikuto getting ready to go on. Amu looked away and blushed and got ready herself. How could Ikuto say that. The whole thing was just because Rima had hired the band because they had come into the area. Now it's turned into a fight against Amu's old boyfriend/producer and to fix the rumor of her and Ikuto dating. Of course the rumor is still floating around and fans are still screaming 'Amuto' whatever that is. Amu shook her head and put on her microphone headset. Rima came over. "Now just picture yourself back at the studio, goofing off with the music. Except you can't mess up. Okay?" Amu gulped and nodded. Ikuto came up beside her. "Ready Amu-koi?" He asked. Amu blushed. "I'm not you koi!" She said angrily. Ikuto smirked and before Amu could say or do anything else the curtains rose up and she saw millions of people swarming around the stage. Amu's face paled and she grabbed Ikuto's hand. He smiled at her. "It's okay Amu, you can do it." He whispered. She looked up at him and smiled. "Thank you." She whispered back. They stepped into the spotlight and Amu let go of Ikuto's hand. The cheering crowd made her nervous. She looked over at Ikuto and saw him smiling at the crowd. She smiled too. Kukai hit the drums in the tempo they would be going at. Naji and Tadase too their spots as the back up singer and guitarists. Kari took his plays at the electric keyboard. Amu and Ikuto stood by the micro phone at the front of the stage even though they had ones hooked on their heads. "Are you ready!?" Ikuto shouted as he smiled at the crowd. They cheered loudly. He laughed and Amu could feel the nervousness dissipate. "Then let's start, shall we Amu?" Ikuto said looking at Amu. She nodded. "Okay let's do this!!" Ikuto said, rilling up the crowd more. Kukai started them off and lead them into the song. Once they started singing everyone cheered. After that song was done they did 5 more songs before taking a break. Behind stage Amu drank a whole bottle of water. Ikuto came up behind her. "You still nervous?" He asked. Amu got scared by his sudden voice that she choked and sprayed her water. She turned around and glared at Ikuto. "No!" She said. Ikuto smirked. Amu cleared her throat. "Thanks... I guess." She said, crossing her arms. Ikuto laughed. "Alright ready to go back out there?" He asked. Amu looked at him and nodded. She liked singing with Ikuto. Wait what is she saying!? She walked back out on the stage with Ikuto. The crowd was cheering 'amuto.' Amu blushed. She looked over at Ikuto who was looking at her. She smiled as he smiled at her. "Ready?" He asked. She nodded. "Ready."
