Bella pov

I turned expecting Damon but came face to face with someone else entirely. He was the most handsome guy I had ever seen apart from Damon. He was In a blue crisp Armani suit and had his hair cropped short. He was checking me out the way I was with him. I saw his eyes darken with hunger - a good kind of hunger and I felt every thing south of me clench with want. I shook my head - what was I thinking - I was with Damon -he was my mate - then why was I acting like this before this man?

"hello, I m Elijah. May I know the name of  a beauty like u?"

Elijah -he was the original

"Bella" I said smiling slightly. 

"what r u doing here Bella?"

"um I m Damon's mate and girlfriend" I said looking into his eyes

Elijah pov

"what? But how can that be? " I asked shocked and angry. Ever since I had seen her I knew she was mine, my mate. Then what was she doing with Damon.

"why is it not possible?" we heard behind us and Damon joined us and put his arm around her waist. For the further shock, I wasn't jealous but happy seeing them together. "hold on hold on why do I have the same kind of feelings for both of u? " Bella said moving away from Damon and looking between both of us. "what do u mean baby?" Damon asked

"she means that u both r her mates " we heard behind us and turned to find Martin and Bonnie. "how's that? " Bella asked shocked.

"because u r special. A prophecy in old witch books has told us about a human who will be a part of this world and would fall in love with a cold one but he would betray her for her own protection and to lead her to her actual mates. She will help the witches, vampires and wolves to redemption starting with her own mates. She will have three mates each having different significance for her but she would love them equally. Damon pov

I was shocked. Here I was planning to kill Elijah and here he was my mate's second mate. But it's good I guess because now he will help with Elena and Klaus issue. Bella was looking at both of us nervously. I smiled at her encouragingly and pushed her towards Elijah who immediately took her in his arms and nuzzled her neck. Oddly it didn't make me mad but hard at the thought of having her sandwiched between us as we thrust into her. Wow!!

I called Stefan and told him to get here immediately. I texted Eric and told him the plan was off

Elijah took me into his arms and nuzzled his face into my neck. I giggled and ran my fingers through his silky hair. He looked up with a smile and I leaned in. He met me halfway and as soon as his lips touched mine, fireworks exploded. He swept his tongue over my lower lip and I granted him access by parting my lips in a moan.
