The ride back to earth was relatively uneventful. Nothing much had happened other than a few strange conversations exchanged between the two, occasionally joined in by GIR's screaming or the doom song when things got too quiet.

Once they finally arrived at earth once more and got out of the ship, Dib quickly waved goodbye, taking the Verins back to his house. Luckily, Gaz was alone in her room with her headphones on, so he was able to slip inside and hide them in his room easily. However, when he opened his bedroom door to leave, he was stopped almost immediately.

There she stood, a look of irritation on her face. Dib had to come up with an explanation, and quickly. Why hadn't he thought about this sooner?

"Dib... Where have you been?" She asked, an undertone of suspicion.

"O-oh, uh, nowhere!! Somewhere- uh, at a friend's! W-without telling you! Sorry-"

Gaz raised an eyebrow, opening one of her eyes. "You have a friend?"

"Uhhh-"

"That's what I thought. Look, next time you go do some gay shit with Zim, think about telling me you won't be home first. You could've been hit by a car for all I fuckin knew."

Dib's face went bright red. "I DID NOT DO ANYTHING WEIRD WITH ZIM!!!!"

"Uh-huh, sure, keep telling yourself that. Just don't run off without saying anything next time, I hate to admit it but I was kinda worried that you were dead or something."

Dib chuckled, his face still somewhat pigmented. "Okay, I promise."

Gaz nodded and headed back to her room. Dib sighed and walked out of the doorway as he had originally planned, shutting the door behind him.

The next day at school was boring as usual. Dumb classes, boring lectures, useless knowledge, and so on. Nothing new.

Until there was something new.

In English class, a new student was introduced. But to Zim and Dib, it was just a reintroduction of a girl who caused them nothing but trouble.

Tak.

A great rush of anger had gone through the two at the sight of her, memories of all the trouble she caused all those years ago filling their heads

A great rush of anger had gone through the two at the sight of her, memories of all the trouble she caused all those years ago filling their heads.

"Kids, I hate to say that we have another transfer student. Some of you may remember her from middle school, but it's not like that matters because she's done absolutely nothing to affect anybody's lives anyways." Ms. Bitters growled. Dib couldn't help but wonder why he still had her after middle school. "Now Tak, go sit down before I make you regret being born."

The blue-haired goth nodded, taking the empty seat behind Zita, a seat not too far from the other Irken.

Zim clenched his fists, glaring at her from behind. However, Tak just sat there, not a hint of expression on her face, not acknowledging him and his burning gaze.

Dib, however, didn't feel as much rage as he did fear. Not because he was scared of Tak, but because he was scared of what Zim would do in response to her sudden reappearance. Alongside that, his mind began to wander, overflowing with ideas and guesses of what she could be here for and what she might try to do to the earth this time.

The whole rest of the day, the two had begun spying on Tak, trying to find anything that would make her seem suspicious. However, nothing stuck out to them, at least until the two discussed at lunch what they had seen.

"She seemed rather chill the whole day," Dib started, picking at the so-called 'food' on his lunch tray. " Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Then again, that's probably what she wants us to think."

"Ehh, Zim didn't see much either. However, I find it strange how she and your sister have been this chatty lately. I think I saw them 'face battle' earlier. Or at least I think that's what it was... I just know their mouths kept touching."

Dib spit out the food in his mouth, and not just because of the grotesque taste

"You saw them WHAT?!"

"Er, face battling?"

Dib gripped the plastic spoon in his hand so tightly it had begun to bend. "That gothic little snake... She's brainwashed my sister..."

Aye, I've returned

Aye, I've returned. We have a new lil side plot now, how fun, and 90% is Dib being a dumbass and assuming the worst.
