Goodbye for now

It should be easy saying goodbye again, you had already done it once though this time was a little different since you're both officially a couple. Tetsurou reassures you that he will come and see you every two weeks. As you're waiting for the others to gather near the bus Tetsurou suddenly pulls you into an embrace. His arms feel strong around you and you feel a tightness in your chest as you realise... you're really going to miss him. You hold your breath as to not let out a cry but the tightness in your chest caused you to let out a shaky breath, followed by a little watering of your eyes. Tetsurou notices and pulls you in closer. 'I promise I will be there every week, without fail. You won't even have to miss me,' he reassures. You let out a shaky laugh and push your face into his chest so he doesn't see you crying. 'I love you-' you say quietly but you're pretty sure he heard you. Before he could respond, you lean towards him and kiss him, then immediately turn and run towards the bus, red-faced, heart racing. You run for the back of the bus before being followed by all the boys. You see your boyfriend try to get onto the bus but Kenma and Lev are holding him back. Kenma shoots you a smile and a wave to which you respond with a wave and mouthing the words 'thank you'. Suddenly you make eye contact with Tetsurou. He's as red as you are. And then you see something you had never expected to—

'I love you too' he mouths.

You both smile and wave before the bus moves away. The excitement of seeing him two weeks later is already building up in your chest. You rest your head on the headrest with the biggest smile you've ever had plastered on your face, dosing off to sleep.

Daichi's POV

I turn around to see my sister with the biggest, dumbest smile on her face. I smile to myself knowing that Kuroo will most definitely look after her. I notice Tsukkishima staring at her. Poor guy. 'Tsukkishima, you alright?' I ask him. He looks back at me before replying, 'yeah.' I pat him on the shoulder. 'Sorry,' I say with as much reassurance I can give. 'It's fine, she's happy right?' he says with a sigh. Man, poor guy.

Kuroo's POV

I watch the bus drive away with y/n. She always looks adorable when she's flustered, but today was different. I felt like my heart stopped the moment I saw her face looking at me from the bus. She's beautiful. And she said she—

'She said she loves me,' I mutter. 'And you said it back,' Kenma replies. Oh my God. 'I did, didn't I,' I mumble. 'Well I guess she knows now,' I chuckle to myself, still red-faced from the encounter. 'I can't wait to see her again,' I say quietly, smiling like crazy.
