The last few weeks have been a little crazy. Balancing studies and managing the volleyball team took up most of your time—not that you mind, in fact, you enjoy it. The first years seem to be settling in amazingly. Oikawa is annoying as ever. Last week he called you multiple times during school and messaged that he wouldn't stop until you picked up. You cringe thinking back to how that conversation went.

y/n: Stop calling me, I'm trying to study.

He's a stalker. You asked the teacher if you could be excused. You feel the stares of your classmates as you left for the bathroom. Why does everyone look at me whenever I do anything urghhhhh. You get the bathroom and call that idiot.

'What do you want?' I asked coldly. Oikawa giggled. 'Y/n channn, come on a date with meeee~' Ew, what? 'Th-that's why you were blowing up my phone?!' you yell, a little too loudly, earning weird looks from other girls in the bathroom. 'Th-that's- uhm- yes... maybe?' Oikawa stutters. You sigh dramatically. 'Yaknow, Oikawa san, if you didn't blow my phone up the way you did, you'd have a better chance of me saying yes.' You really didn't want to go on a date with him but you were not lying—the phone calls were such a turnoff. Oikawa went silent. Suddenly you hear a new voice on the other side of the call. 'Hi there Sawamura san, I'm sorry for this dumbass' actions today. I wanted to stop him earlier but he's been running away from me all day. This is Iwaizumi by the way, we met briefly at the practice match.' Iwa chan. He sounds lovely. 'Please Iwaizumi san, call me y/n. And don't worry about Oikawa san, I've become used to his weirdness,' you say with a giggle. 'Hahaha okay y/n chan, he is a weird one right? Also, what did you say to him? He hasn't moved or said a word since I took the phone from him. I think you broke him,' he said, his voice laced with hints of concern. 'Oh he asked me on a date and I had simply told him I could've said yes if he didn't blow my phone up the way he did.' There was a minute of silence. 'Pffffffft you really did break him,' Iwa chan chuckled. You talked for a while after that and ended up exchanging numbers before you ended the call and headed out to volleyball practice.

You were early to volleyball practice today, so you began to set everything up. Eventually, you got bored so you decided to practice your serves. You jump in the air and slam the ball perfectly into the floor. 'EHHH y/n sannnn?' you hear a little tangerine shout. 'Oh hi guys,' you greet the volleyball team who had been watching with a smile. 'I got a little bored so I thought I'd practice before you got here, I hope you don't mind,' you say to Daichi. 'I don't mind,' he replied with a smile.

'Are we just going to ignore y/n san's jump serve?' Kageyama blurted out. You and Daichi look at each other for a moment before he broke the awkward silence. 'Y/n plays volleyball. Just not in school. She wanted to manage the boys' team even though she would be great on the girls' team. I've tried convincing her but, well, she's stubborn as heck,' he explains. 'Aniki, you've been wanting to go to nationals since forever. You're my brother, helping your dreams happen means more to me than being on the girls' team,' you state, your aura more serious than usual. The room is silent. Suddenly you are attacked with hugs. 'Y/N SANNNN- WE WON'T DISAPPOINT YOU. WE WILL GO TO NATIONALS NO MATTER WHAT!' a little orange bean shouts. 'You guyssss~' you laugh under all the hugs.

I love being their manager so much. You indeed did this for your brother, but now it's for every one of them.

Sorry for the shorter chapter! And also sorry for not updating for a week. I had a weird incident where this old guy perved on me it was hella gross, so I felt compelled to write a comfort chapter ^-^ I'll hopefully have another chapter up tonight to make up for my absence and the short chapter ^3^ Also Iwa chan is the cutest little bean ;-;
