After freshening up you put your hair down and start to brush it. I want to touch his hair, it looks so fluffy. You start to tie your hair up when suddenly your hair tie snaps. Oh no... You don't have any other hair ties on you so you'll have to walk back with your hair out... unless. You pull a navy hoodie on and tuck your long h/c hair into it. 'Hah, I look a little like the pudding...' you mumble, looking in the mirror. You pull the hood up for 'extra protection' before leaving to meet up with the other managers.

You walk towards to manager's room to find all the managers giggling at the sight of you. 'How was your night, y/n san?' Yachi asks with a little smile. You sigh and shake your head, not even attempting to hide your blush. You sit by Yachi and Kiyoko and spill all the details from the night before. It's nice having girlfriends to talk about these things with. You could never talk to Daichi about a boy like this... which reminded you... 'Oh no... Daichi saw me kiss his forehead this morning,' you say quietly, covering your mouth with your hands. 'Do you think he'll tell Kuroo? Do you think he'll find it weird? Urgh, why did I even kiss him? It's like my body moved on its own,' you sigh. 'Awwwww,' the girls say in unison. 'You kissed him in his sleep? Girl, you've got it bad,' Eri says, patting your back. Oh, I know. 'Let's just get ready for the day,' you say reaching for your bag where you keep your hair ties. 'We're ready so we'll just meet you at the kitchen,' Kiyoko said as they left waving. You wave back and go back to looking through your bag. 'Bruh, where are my hair ties,' you mumble to yourself. You can't find a single one. Hopefully, the others have some with them. Until then, you'd be okay just wearing your hood up. It wasn't too warm so wearing a hoodie would be okay. You pull the strings on your hoodie, tightening the hood around your head so that only some of your hair was peaking out. You sigh, get your stuff and head out towards the kitchen to help the girls.

When you get there the girls look at you confused. 'Why are you covering your head y/n san?' Yukie asks you. 'I lost my hair ties and I don't like my hair being down,' you explain. They don't question you further as it looks like you're already a little uncomfortable. 'I wanted to ask if any of you have any hair ties on you and if I could please borrow one,' you ask, scratching the nape of your neck. The girls look at one another before turning back to you. 'I'm sorry y/n san, none of us have one on us at the moment,' they explain. 'Oh it's okay, I'll just wear my hood up today, it's not too warm so I'll be okay!' They smile apologetically before you join them to help with breakfast.

You were serving breakfast when you felt a bonk on your head. 'Daichi, hey what's up?' you ask your brother, looking up. 'You're wearing your hood up,' he says. 'Yeah, I lost my hair ties and the others don't have any at the moment,' you explain. 'Will you be okay?' Bruh, he's the best brother but I'll never tell him that. You nod in response. He smiles and nods back before walking off.

'Hey.' You hear an all too familiar voice speaking to you. 'Kuroo san, hello,' you reply with a smile. 'Are you okay? You're covering your head, did you hit it or something?' Awww he cares. 'I'm okay, I just don't have any hair ties and I don't like having my hair down,' I explain. He nods and seems to be lost in thought. 'I have to go but tell me why you don't like it later?' he asks, patting your head. You smile, 'of course! I'll see you later.' He's so sweet...

The rest of the day went pretty smoothly, though you didn't spend as much time with Kuroo as you would've liked to. It was dinner time before you knew it. You were serving dinner when you felt a familiar large hand on your head. You look up to find exactly the person you were missing. You smile up at him. 'Sit with me?' he asks, his cheeks dusted with a pale shade of pink. 'I'd love to,' you reply. Sitting with Kuroo at mealtimes has become a regular occurrence, though you couldn't sit with him for breakfast or lunch today as you were both busy. It felt weird not sitting together earlier and, though he wouldn't admit it, Kuroo felt the same way. He smiles before making his way to his table, keeping a seat free for you. You smile to yourself while serving dinner to the rest of the teams.

Y/N POV

I finally get my own plate and walk towards Kuroo's table. Before I could sit down I hear Hinata yell. 'Y/n san, you've been wearing your hood up all day! What are you hiding?' No one brought it up until now... Thanks, Hinata. 'Oh, well I lost my hair ties...' I explain. Hinata's face lit up. You sit beside Kuroo and smile up at him. 'So, why don't you like your hair down chibi chan?' Kuroo asks me. 'Well, I used to have it down all the time but I used to get a lot of stares from people. It makes me feel super uncomfortable when people stare at me like that, I'm not even sure why they do it. Anyways, I noticed that when I tied my hair up, they would stare less, so I keep it up,' I explain. The guys look at me weirdly. 'What? Did I say something weird?' I don't think I did. 'Y/n chan... You do realise that people stare because they think you're pretty right? and why would you let what others think of your hair stop you from wearing it a certain way?' Bokuto asks. He's right, I just don't like that much attention... 'I know that you're right Bokuto san, I just feel awkward when people look at me,' I reply with a smile. Suddenly I felt my hand being grabbed. 'Kuroo san-'

'I think you should let it down,' he says, cutting me off. His hand wrapped around mine made my heart skip a beat. 'Bokuto san is right, you shouldn't have to worry about what others think of you. Maybe you can just let it out here, for now, we're all your friends so it won't be too awkward.' He's right. I want to let my hair down this whole time and I haven't because of the fear of other people and their opinions. '...Okay, I'll let it down...' I mumble. 'What??' Daichi asks in disbelief. 'I've been trying to get her to let her hair down for years, how'd you do it Kuroo san?' he jokes around. I stick my tongue out to him, but I am really grateful, he had been trying to tell me the same thing all this time. 'Well, here it goes...' I say lifting the hood off of my head exposing my h/c hair. I slip my hands behind my neck and pull all the hair that was tucked into my hoodie out into the open, letting my long locks fall down my back and sides. I blush furiously when I notice all the boys looking at me with wide eyes.

Kuroo's POV

She's... beautiful. Her hair fell gracefully down to her waist and frames her face perfectly. She's perfect. 'Y/n san... you're beautiful,' Hinata says to her, in a nervous tone, one completely different from the excited tone from a moment ago. All the guys are blushing at the sight of her, and honestly, I don't blame them. I would usually get annoyed or frustrated but it's like I'm stuck in her trance. She's blushing and looking down at her food. Suddenly, before I realised what I was doing, my hand moved on its own and cupped her face, pulling her up to look up at me. Her eyes widen and the red on her face deepens. 'He's right, don't hide your hair anymore, you look beautiful,' I say. I don't even know what I'm saying, it's like the words are just falling out of my mouth. I completely forgot about the rest of the table and I moved my hand to the side of her face, cupping her cheek and tracing her lips with my thumb. My eyes scanned every feature on her face, finally falling on her eyes. I wanna kiss her so bad. 'Oh please. Get a room.' Tsukki. Really?? Right now? I let go of her face hesitantly only to realise the others were watching the whole time. I glance at her and she's blushing like crazy. 'Sorry y/n chan,' I giggle apologetically. 'No, it's okay Kuroo san,' she mumbles back, looking down at her food. 'Well, I'm going to get going,' she said standing up with her half-eaten dinner. 'You didn't finish your food,' I point out. 'I'm not really hungry,' she responds. Before I could reply, she excused herself and speed-walked out of the cafeteria, her long h/c hair trailing behind her. 'Kuroo... you really won. She's gorgeous...' Bokuto says to me. 'She's not even mine yet,' I reply. 'Yet...' Bokuto says quietly.

I rush out of the cafeteria looking for y/n. I find her standing outside in the moonlight. She looks stunning. 'Y/n chan,' I call out, running towards her. She looks startled and like she's going to run away. Before she can act, I grab her hand and put her into my embrace, one arm around her body and one hand tangled in her hair. I pull her in close, wanting to take in every part of her, wanting her to be mine. I hold her tightly in my arms, afraid that if I let go she'd disappear. I never want to let her go...
