Copper and Tellurium [Kuroo x reader]

'What are your intentions with our manager?' You hear your team ask your poor boyfriend. You stand silently waiting for his answer, trying not to laugh as to how serious the boys were being.

'My intentions? Well...' he drifts off trying to formulate a sentence. 'I want to make her happy and look after her. I want to see her smile every day and never make her cry. She makes me unbelievably happy and I want to do the same for her,' he replies, confidently. You stand, not laughing anymore, surprised at his answer. The team, satisfied with Kuroo's answer looks up to find you and jump up. 'We weren't interrogating him or anything, promise!' Hinata yells in your face. You look at Kuroo, who's staring right back up at you, blushing. You nod and sit beside him.

'You didn't have to interrogate him yaknow, Aniki already approved right?' you say. 'This is different idiot,' Tsukki says nonchalantly, whacking the back of your head. You choose to glare at him instead of a snarky response. 'Well I think we'd better leave the lovebirds alone for now,' Daichi says and with a short goodbye and a few eyebrow wiggles, you were left alone with your boyfriend.

Suddenly you feel Kuroo grab your hand. 'Let's go somewhere after this,' he says. You look up at him confused. 'After dinner? Sure but where?' you reply. He smiles down at you and squeezes your hand a little, 'you'll see.'

After you finish eating, you follow Kuroo outside. 'I hope you're not kidnapping me,' you giggle. He stops suddenly and pulls lifts you up. 'I'm not but I wouldn't mind keeping you all for myself,' he whispers in your ear. You shiver, but not from the cold. He chuckles at your reaction and carries you towards a crossing. He puts you down and holds your hand as e leads you across the road and to a small convenience store. 'Grab your favourite snacks chibi chan,' he says and kisses your hand before letting it go. Oh, the butterflies. 'Okay,' you say, happily skipping away to the snack aisle. After spending ten minutes picking up your favourite food and drinks. You go to the counter to pay but before you could Kuroo hands over his money to the cashier. 'Tetsurou, you didn't have to pay for me,' you say, disapprovingly. 'What kinda boyfriend would I be if I didn't buy my girlfriend snacks?' he says grabbing the bag and your hand, leading you out of the store.

You walk for another ten minutes or so when Kuroo suddenly picks you up again. Ignoring your questions, he carries you to a spot under a tree and sits you down. 'You sure like to carry me,' you say as he puts you on his lap. You look around to find that Kuroo had set up a cute little picnic area with cute lights strung around. 'Tetsurou... this is so sweet of you. When did you do this?' you ask, looking around, trying to take it all in. 'Earlier when you were busy,' he replies into your neck. 'Thank you so much,' you whisper back, wrapping your arms around him, snuggling into him.

Kuroo's POV

I hope this was special enough for a first date. I hold her close to me for a moment before pulling away to look at her. 'You're so pretty,' I say. And she is, under the night sky with the different lights hitting her from different directions, she's the prettiest girl I've ever seen. Her blush sends my heart racing. I put her down and pick up our bag of snacks. 'I was thinking that we could maybe watch a movie and eat snacks. It'll have to be on my phone though if that's okay,' I say taking out the snacks and setting up my phone. 'That sounds like a great idea,' she replies, 'what are we watching?' She sits closer to me and grabs a packet of chocolates. 'I'll let you choose, I don't mind at all.' She hums, lost in thought, and scrolls through Netflix until she stops and gasps. 'Wanna watch Ponyo!?' she yelps excitedly. Stop, she is so cute. 'Sure chibi chan,' I reply with a smile. She sets up my phone and places it in front of and snuggles into me. I wrap my arms around her and lay my head on top of hers.

I look down and see y/n shivering a little. 'Are you cold, chibi chan?' I grab her and pull her closer to me. 'I'm not that cold, it's okay,' she whispers. I grab my jacket and place it over the two of us like a blanket. 'Thank you,' she says looking up at me. I lean in and kiss her forehead before the two of us turn back towards the movie. She pops a chocolate into her mouth and places another against my lips, offering me one. I open my mouth and accept her offer. We continue watching the movie, her occasionally feeding me and vice versa.

~short time skip towards the end of Ponyo~

'Would you still like me if I was a fish?' she suddenly asks. I almost choke on my iced tea. 'Yes I would,' I say stroking her hair. 'What if I was half fish?' I giggle at her seriousness. 'Yes y/n, I would still like you if you were half a fish,' I say patting her head. She smiles up at me and grabs my hand. Suddenly she pulls me down into a kiss but she pulls a little too hard, causing both of us to fall onto the ground. She doesn't pull away and instead wraps her arms around my neck. 'This was a great date, I loved it,' she says pulling away. I lean down and kiss her again. 'Anything for you,' I reply.

At the end of the movie, we pack up our stuff and start walking back, hand in hand. 'I'm going to be leaving Tokyo soon. I'm really going to miss you Tetsurou,' she says suddenly. I look and her and squeeze her hand in reassurance. 'I'll come to see you every two weeks, y/n, I promise.' We stop right outside the door, the breeze flowing through her hair. I take her face in my hands and kiss her. 'You won't get a chance to miss me, I'll talk to you every single day,' I say. She smiles up at me and wraps her arms around my waist, burying her face in my chest. 'Thank you Tetsurou, you make me happy,' she whispered against my shirt.

'Did you two have fun?' I jump and turn to find Daichi standing, arms crossed with a smug expression. 'We did,' she replied. 'Good now go to bed,' he says, an ominous tone in his voice. Y/n shivers and kisses me on the cheek. 'Okay, Aniki. Goodnight Tetsurou, Goodnight Aniki,' she says before running inside. He turns towards me suddenly, sending shivers down my spine. He walks up to me and pats my back (it was more like a slap) 'You'd better look after her,' he says, before heading in.
