Seoul High School

The finest school to exist in Seoul and South Korea. It is known for its high education, strong athletic teams in basketball and baseball, and rich culture. It is not easy to gain admission to this school. Either your parents have to have plenty of money or you should have good brains to be approved.

What seemed like an impossible attainment, you did it with flying colors. The fruit of studying day and night came in the form of an offer letter from Seoul High School and an academic scholarship as a plus point.
You had to work hard, you wanted to work hard for yourself, your grandmother whose soul no longer lived to bless you every day, and most ardently for your deceased mother who had adorned big dreams for you.

One of her many dreams was to see you clad in a white coat with that stethoscope hanging around your neck so that she can proclaim that you were her daughter.

Upon growing up, you realized how helpless your mother was. No money, no treatment. The sad truth of this world where the poor could never relish the advances that humans have made. That inspired you and motivated you to not give up. You will become the doctor your mother had desired and you will use that gift as a boon to many needy people you know are praying for such help in their lives.

The path towards your goal is not easy. Nor was it simple before?

At times you went to bed with an empty stomach. At times you took shelter at the train station shivering in the cold nights. Fortunately, a kind woman who owned an orphanage took you under her roof until you turned eighteen and were capable enough to earn your own money.

The large group of students who were talking and laughing so loudly became silent all of a sudden. Gasps and squeals were apparent in the hallways as the popular three boys walked past them like kings.

Jaeyhyun, the warm one, pleased the girls with his cute dimples. Jimin, the charmer. Just one smile and a girl would be wrapped around his fingers. Jungkook, the bad boy and the member of the basketball team. They were the icons of the school that everyone looked up to. Every boy wanted to be part of their circle while every girl desired to be in their pants.

You shut the door of your locker and walked passed the huge crowd. Those single pair of eyes locked with you for a second, your breath hitched at the sharpness in his eyes, and in an instance, the glances were turned somewhere else. Like some strangers who wouldn't possibly ever cross their paths.

You were a nobody that anyone would associate with. Rumors were sparked and soon everyone avoided you like a plague for having had a mother who died from HIV.

Being the ignorant rich brats, they named you virus. They thought that if they were even a meter near you, they would contract the disease. You were not bothered at all about having the same experience at the orphanage. Your adoptions would come to a halt in an instant once they would learn of your background. You would never forget the appalling looks you would receive as they would leave the grounds of the orphanage.

You have become used to it.

This thoughtlessness did not bother you any longer.
You just wanted to graduate and get into a good college.

"Lower your skirt, young girl, and you kiddo, where is the rest of your hair." Bang Si Hyuk, the man who has been a dedicated principal in this school for fifteen years shouted. His wooden stick in his hand as always.

He was not a stern principal but made sure that his students comprehend a discipline that nobody seemed to care for.

Everyone scattered here and there carrying their books to the classes they need to go to. Gossiping and giggling all the way trying to waste time as much as possible.

You entered the English class and settled right at the back in the corner. Nobody would sit in front or next to her considering your reputation and you appreciated the peace.

The famous trio entered right after and sat in the middle of the classroom grasping all the spotlight.

Song Ji Hyo, the prettiest teacher in the school greeted the students pulling her glasses up the bridge. The boys whistled at the tight pencil skirt she wore today. She took the whistles as a compliment and smiled proudly after asking them to settle down.

She was a good teacher though. She treated her students equally and had a different style of teaching.

"Good morning to everyone. No need to answer back with your early morning tedious tones." She beamed at everyone.

"Right. I asked you to watch Hamlet."

"Ms. Jihyo. That movie is freaking four hours. How do you expect me to sit in one place and watch people talk in an alien language." One of them groaned. Everyone murmured in agreement.

"Silence." She said calmly. "I know that you guys are incapable of doing such a simple task. Hence, you will read the first act on your own for the rest of the period. Now do not think that you will get away because I will be giving a quiz tomorrow."

All the students howled together but opened their books cursing at Shakespeare. Ms. Ji Hyo casually sat on her chair busying herself on her laptop.

The rest of Monday finished at a slow pace.

You unlocked the door of your little flat thinking of taking a quick rest before going to the part-time job at the coffee shop just around the corner from your home.

What you did not expect was him, seated on your wooden single bed, his eyes as sharp as you were familiar with. The stranger that he was for you in the daylight and the very person you would be tangled up with at night.

Jeon Jungkook enunciated in a way that sent chills down your nerves.

"Strip"
