𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 ||𝐉𝐉𝐊 (𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴)

Chapter 47

It's been a week since you have moved to the Kim resident and have been adjusting slowly but comfortably with the father-daughter duo. You would wake up earlier than Jin despite his scoldings and prepare breakfast for everyone. You let him prepare the first morning since you stayed up late with Soojin reading bedtime stories and only woke up once Jin came to wake you two up.

Jin would be at the hospital the entire day and would come pick you up from the school and Soojin from her kindergarten in the afternoons. He would then take you and Soojin to the ice cream palour and drop you home. At times his shift would end late at night and you took his permission to take Soojin at the coffee shop during your shift.

Everyone had come to take a liking for Soojin over there since she is such an adorable goofball. You didn't have to worry much about her during work as she would spend most of the time helping hoseok arrange the money at the cashier or go around teasing Taehyung who she loved troubling the most. The one time she stuck a gum on the chair and it supposedly happened that Taehyung sat on it. The entire time he walked around having no clue that a sticky substance was stuck to his pants leaving everyone in fits.

Although you and Jin had a difficult schedule, you both managed to work together like a team and took care of Soojin. Jin could see that Soojin was much more happier around you and he could sense that there was a different aura at home now- warm and nurturing. He took a peek at the two girls cozily snuggled together with Soojin's soft snoring echoing in the room. He quietly closed the door with a grateful smile and went to his bed.

The Sunday morning you woke up to see Jin packing some stuff in the kitchen. "Good Morning." He smiled at you.

"Good Morning." You smiled back.

"If you don't mind me asking, are you going somewhere?" Your asked curiously.

"Not just me. We are all going for fishing." He said zipping the bag after placing all the things he needed.

"Fishing!" Soojin came running in the kitchen squealing in excitement. She pecked you on the cheek and than gave a kiss to her father like she does every morning and sat on the stool to eat her breakfast.

"Did you brush your teeth sweetie?" She was sleeping when you woke up and you knew she was a thief in that department.

"Yes Ms. Y/n" She nodded proudly and scooped a spoonful of cereal in her mouth. You decided to trust her and settled next to her ruffling her hair and then poured milk over your cereal and began to eat.

"I will go shower quickly and no talking while eating Soojin." Jin informed leaving the kitchen.

"Okay daddy." Soojin shouted loudly making you snicker as some milk spilled out of her mouth.

After breakfast, you dressed Soojin in the denim jumpsuit she insisted and went to go shower yourself as well. You wore a simple plain dress and a pair of plums. You went in the living room to find Jin matching the same jumpsuit with Soojin with a brown shade covering half their face. You laughed at how extra they were.
