Chapter 22

"Welcome to match day." Baekhyun, the commentator from Stone Arts High School announced in exaggeration with a final wink to the ladies from the screen he was visible on.

"Baekhyun, I have been waiting for this day. This will be just another year where Seoul High School will taste victory again. I guess SAHC should plan their pity party already." Daesung, the commentator chosen for SHC announced causing the audience on the SCH bleachers to scream in unison.

"We will see, Daesung. SAHC has worked harder this year and they are ready to come off stronger. Let's see if SHC will be able to tackle them. Till then let's begin the game." This time the bleachers of the SAHC roared in support of their school.

The two teams of each school stood in a row facing the spectators as the school's theme song played in the background. Eunwoo roamed his eyes around in search for his friends and there he saw you and Rosè right at the back waving at him. He smiled and waved back. Jungkook's eyes followed Eunwoo's gaze towards. A part of him wanted to be cheered just like that by you but shrugged it off and focused on the strategies for today.

The theme songs were finally over. The five players of each team that would be playing for the first quarter remained in the indoor court as the rest of the players joined their coach in the dugout to watch the match from there.

The refree blew the whistle indicating the beginning of the game. First few minutes were going slow and smooth without any goals by any side. This only lasted until Lay of Stone Arts took it upon his shoulders to gain a goal for his team with his cleverness.

"....And a goal by our sexy Lay. Take that Seoul High." Baekhyun screamed while Daesung had no words.

The first three quarters finished with with two goals by Stone Arts. Joong ki was getting worried. The team was getting slow as they were getting tired from the running and couldn't understand the weakness of the other team. Lee soo min, the principal of Stone Arts was jumping on Mr. Bang's lap, rubbing the splendid performance of his school on him.

Seoul High hurdled and shared a few words of encouragement. "Don't lose hope boys. Remember the tactics you have learned and don't let the scoreboard scare you. I believe in you guys. So go out there and make me proud." Joong Ki told them to which they nodded. His words were surely boosting their confidence.

They could come back again stronger in the last quarter but time was too short. Twelve minutes and they need to score three goals to victory. Will they manage? The high spirited Seoul High was now slumping in disappointment. They could only hope for a miracle.

"Damn it. We will lose." Rosè groaned. She had worn the school jersey and painted her cheeks in the excitement to support the school today.

Chanyeol from Stone Arts who had already accepted that his school was on the winning side began to tease the opposing team. Jungkook took this chance and with trickery, he took the ball in his hands passing it to another player. The player managed to keep it in his hands despite the other team cornering him. He passed the ball to Eunwoo who was standing by the basket. He threw the ball high in the air as it passed the basket leading to first goal for Stone Arts tonight.
