Everyone was doing quite a great job at their presentations but it wasn't good enough to earn a distinction from Ms. Ji Hyo. She looked bored and pointed out every fault she found.

You wondered what her reaction would be for your group.

"I am kinda worried." Eunwoo whispered to you.

"Me too." You frowned. You couldn't afford to drop your marks at any cost. Eunwoo took your hand in his and pressed it hard to calm the nerves. More like calming his nerves.

"You sure you prepared properly." You asked in concern to which he smiled and nodded.

"Eunwoo and y/n." You could feel your heart pulsing when your group's name was called out. It was Eunwoo who would do most of the talking but still you felt nervous.

With slow steps the two of you walked down and faced the class like you were being reprimanded. The two friends glanced at one another for one last time for encouragement and took a breath. Eunwoo put his USB on the laptop as the device flashed their PowerPoint on the projector.

Eunwoo made sure to keep short and simple points on each page. It made it more easier to read and understand instead of detailed information.

"Good morning to everyone. My partner y/n and I chose to explore the theme of Appearance vs. Reality. In the drama Hamlet by Shakespeare, we explore many aspects where things are not what they seem to be......." Eunwoo spoke with confidence as if what he was saying was the truth. He was doing extremely well until the last two slides when he got stuck. He looked at y/n for assistance.

They would become a laughing stock if they messed up last minute so out of instinct she took over. She does not know how that confidence overpowered her. Maybe fear of failure and disappointment. Whatever it was, she didn't want their presentation to go bad.

"Like my partner Eunwoo was saying. Deceit and betrayal is very prominent within all characters. Claudius masked his sins of the murder of his own blood by portraying himself as a great king. However he had a large amount of greed and guilt hidden within his conscious. Hamlet too tried to fool the other characters by faking his insanity to expose the many conspiracies happening in Denmark. In short he too took the help of deceit even though his intentions were pure to an extent. In conclusion Appearnace Vs. Reality is a deadly theme not just in the drama but in real life as well. It can ruin lives in ways you cannot imagine." She took a deep breath that she was holding.

She flickered her eyes at Eunwoo who was bashfully smiling and at the entire class who broke into an applause after a nerve breaking silence. She looked at Ms. Ji hyo who was gawking like a hawk but couldn't hide the proud smile she had on her face.

"Well done." It's all she said but it proved enough to let her know that they got the distinction they toiled so hard for. Ms. Ji hyo does not give compliments.

Jungkook was surprised to see this new side of her. He felt a sense of pride for her but he convinced himself that it was their impressive team work.

'Her scholarship won't be taken away.' He took a breath in relief.

"You fumbled on purpose didn't you?" You asked your friend who had his mouth filled with greasy food unable to form any words.

"Who told you to eat so much like a pig?" Rosè interjected scrunching her nose at how disgusting his mouth looked.

The girl had somehow found your eating spot and invited herself to join you guys. You didn't mind at all but Eunwoo showed no intention to hide his disapproval.

"Who asked you to sit with us, you geek." Eunwoo finally spoke once the food passed his throat and burped at the last part making you giggle.

Rosè rolled her eyes at his question directed towards her.

"And what makes you think so." He turned his attention to y/n.

"Becuase you were so well prepared yesterday and it's unlike of you to mess up." You reasoned.

"Fine. I admit it but did you see how amazing you were there." Y/n felt her heart flutter with a sense of achievement. She nodded to which Eunwoo returned a wry smile.

"Yoh see. You need to give yourself more credit."

And he was right. She underestimated herself a lot.

Author.

I swear it was not my intention to make you bored by that speech on whole appearance vs reality.

But keep in mind that it is the theme of this book too.

I used to hate speeches in school but somehow managed to give a good one lol.
