"I don't know why you won't fly to Baku with me," Seb whined to Alyssa on the Wednesday morning as they packed their cases into the boot of his DBX.

"We're on the same flight Sebastian, so you could say we are flying together."

"Yes,  but you know what I mean.  You could be in First Class with me and Antti, you don't have to be all cramped up in one of those little seats.  Plus you'd get to look at this gorgeous face all through the flight," he grinned, pointing at himself.

"Seb, I want to fly with the team.  I need to make friends.  I'm not going to see much of you all weekend, and I don't want to end up being a loner.  Joel's going to look after me and introduce me properly to everyone.  Look, I appreciate the offer, but I don't belong in First Class.  People will think there's something going on between us."

"They'd be right," he laughed, grabbing her around the waist and pulling her close to him.  He began nuzzling her neck.

"Seb!  We know that.  We don't want everyone else to think that.  I don't want people thinking I get special treatment just because of my connection to you. I'm already worried people will find out that I live with you."

"I know," he sighed.  "I'm just going to miss you.  These last few days have been great."    Alyssa smiled.

They'd spent Monday together, firstly at the Aston Martin base, where Seb had given her a guided tour after she'd signed her contract, then afterwards he'd taken her for lunch at a quaint little pub by the canal not far from the factory.   After returning home they'd had a movie night snuggled up together on the sofa.

The following day Seb had trained with Antti in the morning, then in the afternoon he and Alyssa had gone for a hike, which had ended up with them making out up against a tree in the woods.

"I'll miss you too, but we will see each other, even if it's only in passing," she reassured him.

"But I won't be able to kiss you."

Alyssa laughed. He sounded like a sulky child. "We'll make up for it when we get home."

"Aly, we won't be home for twelve days. We're flying straight to Montreal Monday morning," he reminded her.

"Look, we'll see what we can do. We're both free Tuesday, right?

"I'll tell Britta not to book me in anywhere."

They both climbed into the car. After they'd put their seatbelts on Seb pulled off down the drive.

"I am glad you got this job. At least I'll be able to fantasise over you while I'm having my lunch," he said, with a massive grin on his face. "You're much better looking than Lynn, so maybe I won't eat in my room so much."

"Don't go distracting yourself from the job you're there to do."

"Hmmm, if only doing you was part of that job."

Alyssa smiled. He had the most cheesy lines but she was so happy, happier than she'd been in a long time. After living her life in the shadows for so long she was finally beginning to see the sun.

Alyssa's first weekend with the team had been amazing. She'd loved it, even if it had been extremely hard work, a lot harder than she was used to.

To her disappointment, she'd hardly spoken to Seb since they'd parted at the airport.  He'd had his own hire car waiting for him and Antti in Baku, and Alyssa had travelled on the coach that the team had organised for the rest of the team.

The Thursday had been media day so Seb had been  busy with his track walk, his seat fit and media duties.  Then after that everything had been pretty manic.   They'd had to make do with smiling at each other in passing and some flirty text messages.
