"There's somewhere I want to show you," Seb said after they'd arrived back at the house. "But first I need you to wait in the games room. There are some things I've got to do. I'll come and get you when I'm done."

Alyssa looked at him, confused. "What are you up to?" He grinned at her and shrugged his shoulders.

"You'll have to wait and see," he replied, before quickly dropping a kiss on her forehead. "Just relax. I won't be long."

She went into the games room and sank down onto the sofa, putting her feet up. She gave a small chuckle as Seb shut the door behind him. What was he up to?

She closed her eyes and began to think back over the day. She had had so much fun. Her nieces really were the most amazing girls. And as for their father...well, he was beyond amazing.

Then she felt sad as she thought of the conflict between her and Sienna. She knew it wouldn't be easily resolved, especially when Sienna found out that she and Seb were in a relationship.

She didn't exactly fall asleep, but she began drifting into that place halfway between awake and asleep. She didn't hear the door open again, but opened her eyes at the sound of Seb's voice.

"Hey baby, you awake?"

"Yeah," she replied, sitting upright.

"It's ready. Come on." He took her hand, helped her to her feet and then led her to the kitchen and out through the glass double doors that led to the back garden.

Alyssa looked around. What was she meant to be seeing? All she could see was everything she'd normally see there.

Seb carried on walking down the garden, pulling Alyssa along after him. When they reached the bottom he stopped, turned right and carried on walking. They reached the edge of the small copse that was part of his property.

"Seb, where on earth are you taking me?" she asked.

"We're nearly there," was his reply.

They weaved in and out of the trees and finally emerged in a small clearing in the centre of the copse.

A small stream cut through the clearing on one side, winding its way on its journey to meet the river a mile or so away.

The next thing that struck Alyssa was how quiet it was. Surrounded by trees, it was almost as if they were cut off from the rest of the world. All she could hear was the buzzing of a bee, and the chirping of a grasshopper.

She gasped as she noticed a red tartan picnic blanket laid out on the grass. Next to it was an ice bucket containing a bottle of white wine, and next to that were two crystal wine glasses on a tray. A white plastic tub with a lid on it was sat on one corner of the blanket.

"Oh Seb, this is wonderful. It's like a place in a fantasy novel," she exclaimed as she looked up at the rays of sunlight that were breaking through the canopy of leaves above their heads.

"I thought you might like it," he replied. "Take a seat beautiful."  Alyssa carefully sat down on the blanket. Seb sat down next to her. He took the bottle of wine out of ice bucket.  He'd already opened it back at the house, but had put a stainless steel stopper into the bottle so no insects could get into it.  He pulled the stopper out and poured a generous amount into a glass. He handed it to Alyssa, then poured himself one.

"Are you trying to get me drunk so you can have your wicked way with me Herr Vettel?" she joked, taking a sip.  "Mmmm, delicious."

"Obviously," he grinned.

"What's in the tub?"  Seb put his wine glass down, picked the tub up and took the lid off, revealing a selection of fresh fruits.

Alyssa's face lit up.  She took a small strawberry and popped it into her mouth.  Seb took a raspberry.
