Seb knocked on the door and took a step back whilst waiting for Sienna to answer. The door opened and she smiled at him. Before Alyssa he'd have appreciated her figure in the short minidress she was wearing. Now he just looked straight past her as he spotted the girls running down the hallway towards him. He crouched down and held his arms out, scooping them up and holding them tightly.
"Daddy!" cried Rebekah. Naomi held on tightly around his neck.
"Oh my girls. I've missed you both so much." He blinked back his tears. He'd never gone so long without seeing them.
"See girls, I told you Daddy would come and see you when he wasn't so busy with work."
Seb bit his tongue. She had a fucking nerve blaming him for not seeing them!
"Come on inside Seb. I'll put the kettle on."
He walked past her and into the kitchen. He took a seat at the table, pulling Rebekah up onto his lap. Naomi sat on the chair next to him.
"Where's Aunt Alyssa?" she asked.
"Aunt Alyssa has had to fly to Russia. She's gone with the rest of my team to help get things ready."
"Why didn't you go with her?"
"Well because I wanted to see my special girls, and also because I had to go and do some practice in the simulator today. I will fly out to Russia tomorrow lunchtime." Naomi nodded, accepting his answer.
"Why don't you girls go and find the pictures you drew for Daddy? We'll meet you in the play room." Rebekah jumped off of his lap and ran with her sister to find the pictures.
"Sienna, thank you for letting me see them. I really appreciate it. It would be great if we could sort things out without involving the lawyers."
"I'm not doing it for you. I'm doing it for them. They don't understand what's happened."
"Understand that their father has fallen in love? Somehow I don't think it would be as much of a problem for them as it obviously is for you."
"Look Sebastian, I don't want to argue with you," she said, suddenly smiling at him. "I get it, you have needs. She was there. You didn't know how I felt. It's her that I'm mad with. She knew how I felt about you."
"Sienna, it's nothing to do with her being there. I love her," he said, frustrated. "We never meant it to happen. We never wanted to hurt you."
"I need time Seb. I have to forgive you for the girls' sake. With her, it will take time." Seb sighed.
"Sienna, she's your sister."
"Please Seb, I don't want to talk about her. You're here to spend time with our daughters. Let's go and join them." She touched his arm and smiled at him.
He stood up and headed towards the playroom. He wished Alyssa was there. He was already missing her. She'd left at 6am to go to the airport. Joel had picked her up. Her flight would be landing in Sochi in about four hours time.
He smiled to himself. How had he become such a softie? He couldn't wait to see her again. He was flying out tomorrow, they'd soon be together. He knelt down and looked at the girls drawings, praising them.
Sienna stood at the door smiling to herself. The bond between father and daughters was evident. She was sure in the end his love for his daughters would prove stronger than his love for Alyssa. He would come back to his family, and she would be waiting with open arms.

Alyssa crawled into the king size bed and snuggled down underneath the covers. It had been a long day. She'd arrived at the track at 7am that morning and arrived back at the hotel at 8pm. She'd stopped off in the restaurant and had dinner with Joel, Shannon, Connor, Matty and Mikey, then she'd headed straight upstairs. She'd brushed her teeth, changed into one of Sebs T-shirt's that she'd brought along with her, and headed straight to bed. Seb would be in the air, well over halfway into his flight. He'd get to the hotel somewhere in the early hours of the Thursday morning. She hoped he'd manage to get some sleep on the way over or he was going to be exhausted for media day.
