I woke up with a groan, slamming my hand on my alarm clock "Die" I mumbled towards it with a raspy voice while I stood up with my eyes still half closed. I knew last night I'll hate myself in the morning for staying up so long but the manga I read was just too interesting. I cursed myself and dragged my feet towards the door where I took a three minute rest before opening it.

"It's too early to be alive damn it" I walked in the bathroom while surely bumping against at least four walls. I washed my face two times to wake up properly and turned on the radio.

I immediately turned the radio off again after hearing the first accords of 'Every Time We Touch'. The song is so new but the radio already managed to play it so dang often that I can't hear it anymore.

I brushed my teeth and got ready for school. "You look dead" my big brother commented as I slipped on my shoes "At least I look better than you even when I'm dead" I gave him a pissed stare "You know if you take the later bus then you wont have to wake up so early?" I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"In the later bus are people from my old school" I explained. My brother bit down on a granola bar. "Why are you afraid of them?" he asked with his food half chewed. "I just really don't feel like talking to anyone annoying at 6am in the freaking morning, please I'm not a maniac"

My brother threw me a granola bar "You don't even eat breakfast though. You know you should" I waved it off "I normally don't eat breakfast, I'm fine with it" I put on my jacket and opened the package of the granola bar. "What did you do with Takashi yesterday? You were away for some time" he casually asked.

"Meeting with his friends, I hung around with Emma most of the time" I said. "What'd you do?" he stared at his phone "I don't know what the boys did most of the time but me and Emma took a walk" I threw my school bag over my shoulder "Hm cool" he said.

"I'll be off" I grabbed my keys and opened the door. "Bye" He said before I shut the door and slipped the keys in my pocket.

I'm so tired I could faint right here and now. Why did I have to be so stupid and stay up that long too. I should slap myself. I huffed and put my hands on my bag strap, not knowing what else to do with them before running half asleep down the street, trying to still get my bus.

I slowed down as I spotted the bus stop and nearly cried when I saw that none of the people that normally took the same bus as me, were there. "Damn it" I whined and plopped down on the bench. My mouth was burning and saliva was constantly gathering under my tongue. I was so out of breath I felt like I ran a mile and I had a stitch.

I put my head in my neck and stared in the cold blue sky while panting my lungs out. My legs did not want to move a bit. They reached their limit for today. I sighed, my day is starting great. Fifteen minutes later, the late bus arrived. I forced my tired legs to stand up and get inside the vehicle.

I sat down on a window seat and stared out of the window with my earphones in, hoping that no one annoying would sit next to me. As if god heard my prayers, a classmate from my old school sat down next to me and immediately started a one sided conversation as soon as he recognized me.

I ignored him, acting as if I couldn't hear him thanks to the earphones. I didn't listen, focusing on the music. I knew I shouldn't have taken any random playlist, but well. "Baby good love and protec-" with a jolt the sound suddenly cut off.

Aggrivated my head snapped around. Who the fuck just yanked the earbud out of my ear. My stare fell upon the annoying classmate with the earbud in his hand "You couldn't even hear me" He smiled. I looked at him in disbelief and annoyance.

That's it. I ripped the headphones out of his hand and pushed him off the seat, out of my way "This is my stop" I hissed and made my way through the crowded bus to hold on to one of the poles near the door. My headphones stuffed in my pocket, I stood the rest of the drive.

When I finally got off, Takashi greeted me at the school gate "You look bad" he pointed out "Do I?" I walked to the school entrance and he hurried and catched up with me. "You do. Did something happen?" I sighed "Life is so tiring sometimes, I just want to lay in my bed and sleep. Wake me up when I fall asleep during class okay?" I mumbled.

Takashi laughed "If I had known you'd be this tired, I would've sent you home earlier yesterday" he said and I shook my head. "No it's because of that manga Chifuyu recommended me, I stayed up all night reading it and forgot the time" I yawned.

Takashi sighed and patted my head. "Look ahead before you stumble against a wall" I looked up from the ground and barely managed to dodge a wall.

"..book down and read, please" I felt something lightly hitting against my foot. Must've been an accident from someone. I'll just keep on sleeping. "May I read the paragraph instead? She doesn't know where we are" someone said. Oh god, let me get my well deserved sleep. "Please go ahead" a sudden painful kick against my ankle made my head shoot up.

Next to me was Takashi, peacefully reading from the textbook, as if he didn't just bruise my ankle. "Do you not know how to pull your kicks?!" I whispered and he shook his head. I thanked my tired brain for at least putting up my textbook while I fell asleep or I would've gotten detention.

I kicked Takashi back before going back to sleep. It's the last lesson on a Friday afternoon, what do you want me to do? A buzzing in my pocket held me back from falling sleep for good. I pulled the phone out and looked at the message.

Emma:
Wanna go shopping tomorrow?

This chapter is based of off me finding out that the song 'every time we touch' came out in 2005 and it must've been so overplayed for them.
