Aaron's pov.

" Father!, Father! "

For the love of God.

The door swings open as I turn around, lowering my book to see the 18 year old girl entering my chambers and panting as she's in her hunting uniform.

" Hope, how many times have I told you?, Stay calm and reserved " I said.

" Well, that's not important, guess what? " She smiles, I close my book as I turn to her fully.

" What is it this time, Hope? " I asked and she push back her jet black hair as her turquoise eyes glisten from the sun shining in my window.

" I found out that grandfather is hosting a traditional hunting event tomorrow! " She excitingly walks up to my table.

" I know, before you say anything and you being all protective and I will only ask you this once " I raised a brow at her when she slams her hand on the table at the end of that sentence.

" May I join the hunt? "

" No " I open my book and she groans.

" Why not?!, Raiden is joining the hunt!, Even with his friends, Leora is going as well, so why can't I?, Even aunt Melissa, there isn't a rule about ladies can't go join the hunt " she said.

" Raiden is a man and he has skills, as for Leora, that's her parents decision not mine, you will be there but just not hunting and with other girls, as for your aunt she gets to decide for herself " I said.

" I know how to fight!, It's what I've been training for! " She said.

" No! " I turn to her and she flinches, I sigh and close my book.

I put down the book on my table as I walk around to her.

" Do you even know what are hunting grounds like? " I asked, she turns around and cross her arms.

" Wild beast, swords, and arrows, poisonous snakes and spiders, any of those could easily take your life, it's too dangerous " I said.

" Only stupid idiots are afraid of spiders " she mutters.

" As a princess, how are you anything like a princess if your going to be out there? " I asked, she turns around to me with a whiny face.

" Please? " She grabs my hand, I sigh once more and I take her hand off.

" Enough asking " I said and pick up my book.

She groans and walk away, I open my book to the page I left off and I notice her standing by the door, I look at her as she turns around to me again.

" You have conquered far and wide to unite our kingdom, you're so heroic and valiant, I might not be your daughter, but I am my mother's daughter who inherit this tradition, I've read many history records of mother's past, she was even brave enough to expose the cruelness of my own father's sins!, Why would you insist on making me timid and cowardly?!, I refuse to give in to it! "

I take a deep breath and set down my book again, I have my back face her as I stand here, I never said you were a coward, you have Y/n's attitude I give you that, the problem is you also carry her stubbornness and recklessness, that's what I'm more worried about.
