I continue to kiss him as Aaron wrap his arms around my waist and my arm around his neck while the other hand is place on his cheek. I sit down on his lap and the blanket is around me as the cold air hits my shoulders.

I pull apart.

" I think we're done for the night " I pant and he smile.

" Your still cold " he leans in for another kiss, I kiss back and hummed in respond as I chuckle.

" We're done " I smile and got off him.

I put on my clothes and adjust my hair.

" What's your excuse this time? " He asked.

" I can't sleep with you, in the next morning someone will enter the room and we'll both get caught " I said.

" Yeah, yeah " he said in an annoying tone.

" How are you and Aphmau? " I asked.

" Don't bring that up " he said.

" Aaron, I have to make sure you two are getting along " I said as I button up my sleeves.

" We're doing just fine " he said, I sighed and turn to him.

I approach him and place my hands on his cheeks.

" I know you hate to talk about it but remember, she's your soon to be wife, don't go against your father " I said and peck his lips.

He sighs and lean his forehead against mine.

" I just need to wait for Zane to make his move and when I have him in his weakest, that's when I will take him down, then we both can be together " he said.

" What if he makes his move after you get married?, Can't do anything about that " I said.

" I'll find a way " he said and kiss me again.

I kiss back and pull apart.

I walk away as I adjust my hair, I exit his room and close the door when I turn around and Aphmau stood in my way, I flinched.

" Your Highness, you scared me " I said.

" What are you doing in his room this late? " She asked as she holds the lit candlestick.

" He left his book at the garden when I was taking a scroll cause I couldn't sleep, so I decided to put it back " I said without hesitation for my answer.

" Oh, for a second I thought you two– "

" No " I answer without hesitation again.

" His Highness is engaged with you, I wouldn't dare " I said, she smiles.

" I will take my leave, goodnight Your Highness " I curtsy and walk away.

I walk down the hallway.

I'm not scared of her, she might be nice and gentle but I have to be cautious as well, I have to be careful with my words. She was getting suspicious of me.

I have to make a dead end so she won't ask anymore questions.

I enter my room and close the door, I change into my nightgown and approach my bed. I see Raiden asleep, I lie down and he immediately snuggle with me, I smile and hug him.
