[ Chapter 14 : An Invitation ]

Y/n's pov.

Raiden sleeps on my shoulder as I just kneel down on the mat where there's his toys. It's basically what is given to him ever since he was here.

It's been three weeks, my wounds are healed, Hector taken out the stitches for me. Valerie has gotten use to the place and also she and Tyson often have conflicts.

I lie Raiden down on the small mattress in the corner as I pull the blanket over him.

" Y/n, get me more paper " Aaron said.

I stood up and head to the drawer near the shelf. I take out a stack of paper and shut it, I walk up to him and place the paper on the table next to his books.

" Thank you " he said, I curtsy and Valerie enters the room with books in her hands.

Tyson comes in after with a letter.

" Your Highness, a letter was in for you " he said.

I help Valerie to put down the stacks of books and arrange it on the desk. Tyson pass the letter, my eyes lands on the wax seal. (Pic above)

Valerie and I had our eyes widened.

" It's a beautiful seal wax " I said.

" It's from Edrovaria " Aaron said as he opens it and take out a letter.

" What does it say? " Tyson asked.

" It's an invitation, from Edrovaria, they're inviting me and other Prince's, to a hunting event " he said.

" Hunting event? " I asked.

" Those who hunted the more prey will get to ask one wishe as a reward and have a banquet, it's tradition for their culture, they have it every year " he said.

" When will it be? " Valerie asked as we both continue to arrange the book.

" Tomorrow, we'll set out by dawn and then we'll arrive around noon " he said and put the paper inside his drawer.

I look up at Valerie and she sigh silently.

My attention then turns to Raiden who is whimpering. I walk up to him and kneel down, I grab his bunny toy and place it on him and he hugs it.

I move his hair away from his face, I look down at him and smile.

It's hard not to think that I'm finally going back after six years. Nonetheless all Prince's are going there.

Even him.

He did this, he started all of this and had me in this position, everything that has happen and the people who has died in his hands, are not forgettable and forgivable.

The Hunting Event will be a good place to present the report. I'll exposed him right there and I'll be free and my name will be cleared.

It's the only way, I'll go undercover as a secret investigator. Then one day, maybe I'll be able to come back.

He won't know what's coming.

I was snap out of my thought when my thumb had a sharp pain. I flinched and look down to see Raiden biting on my thumb.

Awake.

I smile and pick him up.

" Let go " I said as he open his mouth and my thumb is coated in his saliva, I wipe it on a napkin.

I kiss his forehead as he giggles, I see his teeth mark on my thumb.

" Go to sleep " I look at him right into his eyes.
