"Off to work?"
"No. I'm visiting someone" Jennie smiles at the woman outside as she was about to pass by the shop. She looks at her wrist watch and saw that she still has few more minutes before the latter's end of the class.
"Is the lily of the valley available?" she asked the florist as she decided to enter the shop.
"Certainly ma'am. The usual design?" The florist asked
"cut the formality Chaeng. And yes." Jennie laughed a little and sat down at the nearest chair.
"You are a customer unnie. It is a must to act formal." The girl said seriously.
"Yeah and I am also your friend who happens to live with you in one apartment. Park Chaeyoung save your formality to your other customers" Jennie said as she chuckles
"Fine" Chaeyoung rolled her eyes and proceeded to arrange the flowers
After a few minutes~
"Here you go unnie" Chaeyoung handed the bouquet which Jennie gladly took
"Gomawo dongsaeng" Jennie smiled and handed the payment
"You're visiting her again?"
"Yes"
"It's been 2 years unnie. When are you going to introduce the girl to me?"
"Two years, 8 months and 10 days chaeng. And I will bring her here soon" Jennie said as she smells the flowers. It smells like the flowers that she'd be using in her wedding day.
"Scam. If I get paid of hearing those 'I-will-bring-her-here-soon' I would probably be swimming in millions right now." Chaeyoung rolled her eyes at the latter
"I will, I promise" Jennie while raising her right hand
"Whatever. Promises are meant to be broken anyway."
"Yah! Promises are meant to be fulfilled. If it was not fulfilled, then it was never a promise." Jennie cutely frowns at her friend
"Alright alright. You should probably get going now. You won't want to miss your girl."
"M'kay. Thanks again chipmunk. See you later" Jennie bids goodbye and walked out of the shop.
She hopped on her car and drove to the school.
When she arrived. She decided to wait in front of the gate. The girl will be coming out any minute now.
Jennie was continuously tapping her feet on the ground while holding the bouquet. She was never as nervous as she is right now cause' it was her first time fetching her from school.
After a while, she caught a glimpse of the raven-haired girl. Kim Jisoo, her 'special' friend. A flawless smile immediately covered her face as she caught the girl's attention. The latter started walking towards her.
"To what do I owe this pleasure?" Jisoo smiled gracefully at her
"You look so familiar?" Jennie said as if wondering
"What?" Jisoo asked confusedly
"you look so much like my future wife" Jennie winked that earned a slap from the latter
"I swear to your corny ass Jennie Kim!" Jisoo said while laughing
"You like it tho." Jennie laughed as well
"Whatever. Are those for me?" Jisoo asked as she pointed at the bouquet the latter was holding.
"No" Jennie was quick to answer
Jisoo frowned at her.
"But those are my favorites! Are you sure it wasn't for me?" she asked
"No, so hopped on" Jennie opened her car door
"Where are we going?" Jisoo asked
"stop asking and just get in" Jennie pushed the latter inside and get in the driver's seat and drove off.
After a 25 minutes' drive, they arrive at a familiar place.
"why are we here?" Jisoo asked as she stepped out of the car while Jennie opened the car door for her.
"Shhh let's go" Jennie dragged her. They walked for a while with their hands perfectly intertwined.
After a few walks, they stopped at the usual place.
"Annyeonghaseyo eomma-nim" Jennie greeted and bowed 90 degrees
"Oh I brought something for you." Jennie said while she leaned down and placed the flower to the side
"That's your favorite" she smiled and bowed again.
It was all good and she was delighted by what was happening, not until she heard sobs from the person beside her.
"Yah! why are you crying?" Jennie asked worriedly. She put her hands on her pockets to look for a handkerchief but to no luck, she didn't find any. So, she decided to use her thumb and wiped the tears away.
"you are making my heart skip" Jisoo continued to cry while Jennie keeps on wiping her tears
"fuck! Are you having a heart attack? Do you have your meds?! Never mind I'll bring to the hos-"
"I'm not! I just- I'm happy" Jisoo sobbed again
"Then stop crying. You're hurting me" Jennie said and grabbed her for a hug.
"There is such thing called as tears of joy Jennie Kim" Jisoo said while she placed her face at the crook of Jennie's neck
"I would prefer you to show me that you are happy, with laughter not with tears." Jennie said and rubbed the girl's hair
"Shhh" Jisoo shush her to be quiet
"Thank you for showing love and respect to my mother" she said as they continued to feel each other's embrace
"She's my future eomma and the day will come that I have to ask for her blessing. Until then, I will be sure that she will say yes" Jennie said and kissed the latter's hair
"So, this is bribery?" Jisoo pulled away from the hug
Jennie eyes widen
"what? no! of course not"
"come here" Jennie pulled the latter again for a hug
"This my love is called courting" she said as they both look at the neat grave of Jisoo's mother.
"so it's not bribery?" Jisoo asked again with her brows furrowing
"Nooooo~" Jennie cutely whines earning a chuckle from the latter
"Arrasso" Jisoo laughs
"Oh wait here" Jennie ran to her car and get something
Jisoo was left confusedly. After a few seconds, Jennie came back hiding something in her back.
"So?" Jisoo asked
"this is for you" Jennie handed her one strand of lily of the valley.
"I thought you forgot about me" Jisoo cutely pout
"How could I? especially because I know how jealous you can get" Jennie laughs that earned a slap from the latter
"Yah! that's not true" Jisoo frown
"Yeah sure" Jennie laughs again.
Jisoo smiled hearing the laughter of the girl in front of her.
"thank you" She said and kissed Jennie's cheek making the latter's face flushed.
