For a few days,
Luke took care of me.
Wiped me with towels,
fed me,
tucked me in,
and even told me stories.
I feel so safe with him.
Because of him I feel a lot better now.
I then went outside to buy some food for myself.
I saw a flier by a pole,
“Cherry Blossom Festival,
Creek Side Park,
4:00-8:00 pm.”
My eyes widened.
Should I go?
I always loved cherry blossom.
I grew one at my old home
when I was little in my backyard.
I didn’t want to go alone so I guess I can’t go.
I then went to the store.
I saw Luke.
I rushed to him
and he saw me.
We talked for a while,
but stopped when he saw the
Cherry Blossom Festival flier.
“You going?”
He asked, pointing at the flier.
“I want to,
but I don’t know who to take with me.”
“Duh, me.”
“You sure you’re not busy?”
“I’d be happy to join you.”
“Ok then.”
