When It Rains

            It is summer.  Rooms in Convent are filled with hot air.  Fan is also not working.  Everybody says, "if a rain comes....If a rain comes...then the heat would reduce".  Sister Celine finished her prayer and started preparing tomorrow's notes for her children.  

      Sister Celine is a very beautiful nun who have an angelic face.  When we see her everybody will think, why she selected life of a nun?  She could have marry a handsome man.  If she hear this she will tell, "I am the bride of Jesus.  I am in love with him.  I don't need any other man in my life".   Yes, she heard her divine call when she was thirteen. She had her own reasons to take such a big decision.  She is not bothered about her beauty.  She is fully immersed in a spiritual life.   In total she is a full package for being a nun.  No one can deny it.  She is working as a nursery teacher in her convent's school.  She is an angel to her children.  

She heard a voice from Anna's room.  Anna is a depression patient.  Sister entered Anna's room to check. Her room have a small TV.   Doctor suggested it.  We all hoped , may be she will show some recovery after seeing her likes in TV.  But she never responded.  Today she is pointing her finger to the TV and saying something.  This is the first word Sister Celine was hearing from Anna's mouth since two years.

Fort Kochi case.  Doctor Asok is innocent. And the explanation of the case.

Anna is crying, and she said loudly....

"Asokettan.... My Asokettan.....".

Sister Celine ran to her with surprise and asked her to repeat the word.

Anna repeated;  "That is my Asokettan..."

Sister Celine definitely knows Anna's husband's name.  She know his name is Asok. Because Anna's ring finger have a ring encrypted name as Asok.  That means, her husband's name is Asok.  In Kerala Every married couple will have their spouses name in their wedding ring. Both men and women wears it.  But that custom is also changing now.  Sister thought.  The truth is, though Sister knew Anna's husband's name she never knew Anna's real name.  She named her Anna.  Several times she asked her, but silence was the answer.  So Convent called her Anna.

Sister already knew the story of Dr. Asok.  Morning news paper had full coverage of the case.  At last truth won.  She thanked god.  And from the news paper she understood that, Asok's wife's name was Archana.  It says that she is missing since two years.  Doctor Asok said, the culprit killed her . But police didn't get her body yet.

"How will they get her dead body? Is she  alive?" ; Sister Celine thought.

"So you are Dr. Asok's wife Dr. Archana.?"

Archana nodded her head.

"Why were you silent for these two years? why didn't you talk even a word Doctor?"

Archana cried and said;

 " I thought My husband died.  I was silent for my kids. I don't know where they are.  I didn't want to live without my husband. I couldn't live without my kids. I was scared of Sathyan.  I thought, If he knew that I am alive, he would hurt my kids.  So I was silent."

"Archana it is two days old story.  I know you don't read news paper. We all knew about this.  But we never knew that, you are his wife".

"Sister, I want to see my Asokettan.  I want to go..I want to go".

"Of course dear. We can go.  I will tell the Mother Superior to arrange our journey." Sister promised.

"Sister can you do me a favour? "
