Inaugural function of "Arunajyothy Rehabilitation center ".

It was a dream project by Anand.  As he promised himself in the ship, they started a rehabilitation center for rape victims.  Their institution will give legal aid, medical aid, education aid, occupation aid to rape victims.  They have multistoried building for accommodation which is free.  Food and dress also free.  The center will give counselling to victims.  They will equip the victims to face the world without fear. They teach that, rape  victims are not garbage . They have the right to live.  They are always pure. They are not ugly, the one who raped them are the ugliest. Kind hearted brave young men came forward and  extended  their hands for wedding with young rape victim girls in the center.

The stage is full of angels wearing white wedding gowns and crowns. They looked like brides. Anu was also in White gown.  No wedding was going on there.  But something is going to happen there.  They are  in white gown to give a message to society.  

"We are rape victims, not garbage. We are still pure , we too have dreams,  The whiteness in our dress represents the purity of our heart.  One who believe in it can become our princes. Our crown proclaims we are the princesses of your heart"

Kiran and Anand are in White suits.  They have also to give the same message to Society. 

In front of the respected guests Anu started her speech.

"Namasthe everyone.  You all know why we are gathered here.  But not everyone know how we reached here.  Let me introduce myself.  I am Anamika .  The Vice President of Aruna jyothy Rehabilitation Center.  You all know I am an activist since one year.  We stand for rape victims.  We push the government to reform laws related to Rape and we give awareness to the people about some wild customs. And our institution gives free sexual education to the children.  We conduct free classes to children with the help of school management.  And we all are rape victims. Including me and my brother, my parents my family everyone gone through the same.  I have no shame to acknowledge it ".  And she shared her story without hesitation.

"We are dedicating this institution for rape victims of Aruna Shaunbaug and Nirbhaya.  You all are well aware of Nirbhaya case.  2012 a girl gang raped and brutally murdered in our Country's capital by few youngsters.  The whole nation witnessed the protest against rapists then.  It was movement against tortures against woman. Our nation shaken in the protest wave. Because of massive outcry trial of the case was so fast.  Except a juvenile in the case all others got hang death.  But  still the man who claimed himself a juvenile who wasn't completed eighteen years got the privilege of Juvenile justice Act.  After three years of imprisonment he got release. He was the one who attacked that girl more brutally who used the iron rod through her private part and pierced her abdomen.  Her Intestine came out.  For that heinous action he got only three years imprisonment.  Among the six  culprits onealready hanged by himself . All the other hanged to death.  But still that brutal criminal escaped through the loophole of law. And the protest started juvenile law reformed.  Now age group of 16-18 can be tried as adult in the case of heinous offences"

"But the comedy in this story is, After the release of this criminal, government was worried about his life.  If media published his identity , people would kill him.  Our law doesn't permit to reveal the identity of criminals.   But Nirbhaya's father approached the court for revealing his identity.  In his plea he said, even in the prison that juvenile had no change in his character.  But after his release, he got the Rehabilitation in South India. Media says like that. Is Nirbhaya got the justice fully?  During that time, media gave so many names to her. Law doesn't permit to disclose the name of victims. And Nirbhaya was the famous name among them.  But one paper said she was 'Jyothy'   Here for our Rehabilitation Center we select the name 'Jyothy'  , because Jyothy means light. Aruna represents the  Red color.   Combined It is ArunaJyothy and the meaning is "Red Light".   It is a stop warning , Stop signal to Crime.   Here we don't discriminate male or female.  Be alert , "as your daughters , your sons are also in danger"   To give more points about this I Invite my brothers, Anand and Kiran on the stage"
