When It Rains

Krishnan is watching  the drizzling through his window.  He always like to see drizzling.  He is in a wheel chair.  Both his legs are removed . He is a severe diabetic patient.  He knows his days are limited.  His entire life he wanted to confess something.  But a promise to his uncle Gopala Menon pulled back him to do it.  And he know he cannot break that promise.  So this mystery will die along with him.  Who killed Sathy? Yes, Krishnan killed Sathy. 

Flash Back

One day Gopala Menon called Krishnan into his room.  His face showed that he was so stressed.

"Krishna...do you have any relation with Sathy?"

"What...Me? With Sathy? What relation I could be Mama?  I  respect her as Uma. I like her. I never consider her as our servant.  Other than that I don't have any relation with her".  Krishnan replied.

"But Krishna , she says you are the father of her unborn child.  She says you molested her. And she asks money and share from your property for her. She is black mailing me.  I know his brothers are behind this.  I want to confirm it.  If you have done anything wrongly, I can solve it with money. But if they are trying to fool me, I will teach them a lesson.  We men in our family never molest woman.  I never taught that to you all.  My ancestors never taught me that.  Everyone in this family considers Sathy as a family member.   Asok and  You treat her as sister. I will teach those three of them .  If she can say, You molest her,  Her own brothers too can molest her.  I will tell that to the world.  I can abandon my own kids.  But I will never abandon you my child. Whatever mistake you have done, I am willing to forgive you.  Because this is my word to my late sister.  You are my responsibility.  I will protect you with my life. So, please tell me, did something wrong happened from You?"

"No, mama,  please mama, In the name of all gods and my late mother I says, I consider Sathy as my sister.  I haven't done anything wrong.  Even I never looked her with any dirty thoughts.  Please believe me"

"Yes I believe you my son.  Now I know what to do" ; Gopala Menon said.

But Krishnan said, "I want to talk to Sathy.  I want to know why she said like that. I want to know who is the father of her unborn child"

Gopala Menon gave permission to Krishnan. He rushed to Sathy's room. Knocked.  When she opened the door, he jumped into the room and asked.

"Why? Why are you framing me? What wrong I did to you? Did I ever misbehaved to you by words, gaze or by touch?  Tell me.  You know the truth.  Then What is your intention? If you want money I can give you.  But don't think that I will fall for your black mail. If you need money you have to tell the reason of your blaming"

She didn't tell anything. Just cried. 

"Sathy, am asking to you.  Don''t make me insane. Am losing my control.  Why are you blaming me?"

"Sorry, I know you didn't done anything wrong.  But I am forced.  I cannot tell you the truth.  I am not doing this for cash.  Its my brothers who is in need of cash.  I don't want anything.  But in front of others I will tell the same.  I have to say that you are my child's father.  Don't ask the reason"

Krishnan lost his mind and his control after hearing her words.  He caught her neck and squeezed.  Her eyes bulged. He had no intention to kill her.  He just expressed his anger.  But his force was too much. Sathy lost her breath.  And Krishnan couldn't realize then that he killed her .  He removed his hands.  Sathy fell down. He called her name several times.  Checked her breath.  No response.  He got scared, ran to Gopala Menon's room. Gopala Menon too came to her room and checked.  He confirmed the death.  That time Rema heard some sounds , so she reached kitchen to check.  The Kitchen door was opened because, Krishnan was already left through kitchen to call the men to dispose Sathy's body.  Same time, Sathyan and Sivan reached there with Asok's letter to his mother.  The door was opened, they thought Asok's mother was inside.  Rema screamed by seeing their shadows. She thought they were thieves. Even if she realized the truth she was angry from the touch of Sathyan.  He touched her body to stop her from screaming.  The way he touched her body was wrong.  She sensed his intention and she knew his dirty thoughts already.  She forgave him because of Sathy.  Several times she wanted to tell about him to grand father.  But she respected Sivan.  She didn't tell anything against Sivan.  And she was unaware of the reason of his grand father's allegation against Sivan.  He trapped them. Or wanted to teach them a lesson for their greed.  They made his nephew a murderer.  Though he done it, the real culprits were Sathyan and Sivan.  So, Gopala menon punished them as per his law.  Was it proper or not is not a question.  Because during that era, everything was in favor of landlords like Gopala Menon.  Actually he was a decent gentle man.  He had so many problems in his attitude, still he was good in nature. Anyway better than Sathyan in all ways. Gopala menon  changed Sathy's death into a suicide. Krishan didn't know how they did it.  Until his death he never disclosed that truth.  Krishnan knows Sathyan was behind his uncle's family.  He know he may be killed by Sathyan.  And he may be killed his aunty.  He knows everything happening in his maman's family was because of him.  He is burning in guilty  feeling since years.  But he is tongue tied.  He cannot tell the truth.  He promised to his maman.  That was the wish of Gopala menon.  So Krishnan will never tell this truth.  And Sathy's death will be a mystery always.

Abhirami divorced her husband.  She went her school and collected her certificates.  Got married to Anand.  Now she is a Literature student in college.  Both Anu and Deepa are pregnant.  Ajay and Vijay resigned the job.  They are now settled in Fort kochi along with their parents.  And they started a detective agency privately where Ajay , Vijay and their father are working togetherly.  They are residing so close to Little Heaven.  Deepa started own physiotherapy center.  Kiran is doing his business.  Kavitha gives sexual education to the students and she too continuing her studies.  Madhav started own Clinic. Uma is now teaching in rehabilitation center.  Kesav and Rema running their Catering Unit successfully.  Kiran and Anu working in Infropark and also busy with rehabilitation centre. Archana and Asok restarted the clinic, but they are more involved in rehabilitation centre.  Ajay's parents are also helping them.  In total everyone lives happily.

But two mysteries are still there.  Little Heaven is still searching for them . Bhama and Ben.

In Kerala , people always carry umbrella with them . They use it in rainy season and also in summer.  They walk under the shade of umbrella during summer.   In short Whether it is rain or sun shine you can use umbrellas.  

Here a folded umbrella opened secretly by Krishnan.  A Mystery Unfold.  But you can keep folded umbrellas with you for protecting yourself from rain or from sunshine.  Then take the folded umbrellas, keep it with you.  You are going to meet Ben and Bhama .
