Daphne walked into her and Callie's apartment after one of the longest night shifts she had ever had. Walking into the small modern kitchen, Daphne see's her older sister eating a pint of Halo's mint chocloate chip ice cream while mumbling to herself.
"Hey what's wrong? Why aren't you at George's?"
Callie looks at her younger sister with a tear stained face and sighs, "Apparentally George wasn't actually asking me to move in with him, so I left."
Daphne sighs, "I'm so sorry Cal, I'll beat his ass tomorow if it makes you feel any better."
Callie chuckles but shakes her head even though she would like to see her younger sister beating up the boy. Daphne nods at her sister and as she is about to recommend watching one of the Marvel movies (which is their favorite franchise) and eat popcorn instead of her sister eat a pint of ice cream, her phone rings.
She pulls her phone out of the purse she had placed on the island to see Mark's name pop up on the screen. Looking over, Callie notices the small smile on her sisters's face, "Go, take it. I'll be fine."
Daphne smiles at her sister and kisses her forehead before clicking accept on her screen, walking out of the room and into her bedroom.
"Hello doll" the seductive masculine voice of Mark Sloan says.
Daphne smiles on the other end, "Hi Mark, what's up?"
On the other side of town, Mark sits down at the bar of Joe's Bar while talking to the girl he can't keep off his mind, "Well doll I recently accepted a job at a certain hospital in Seattle and was wondering if you would like to come meet me at Joe's Bar."
Daphne chuckles and bits her lip before responding, "Really"
