Daphne rushes throughout the ER, her five wide-eyes interns following closely behind. She stop and turns around, "Okay, do not go running off unless told to. Do not go help somebody else's patient unless given permission to."

The asian girl raises her hand, "What if the doctor did the wrong thing and we need to save the patients life?"

Daphne stares at her with a black face, "What do you think?"

"S-Save them?"

Daphne rolls her eyes, "Obviously." Recently, her hormones have been getting the best of her, did she really mean to be rude to the young girl? No, of course not. Did the girl ask a stupid question? Yes.

Daphne turns to find her sister looking frantic and talking to Bailey, "Where are my interns Bailey?"

"How am I supposed to know?"

Callie let's out a frustrated sigh when she finally sees Daphne, "Daph!"

Daphne smiles and hugs her sister, "How's it going Chief Resident..."

Callie smiles and looks behind Daphne, "Those your interns?"

Daphne nods, "Mhm, a little nervous but, so far so good!" Callie nods, "Okay, go wait by the doors for the trauma to come in."

Daphne nods and goes to walk towards the doors when Callie's grabs her hand and whispers into her ear and turns her back towards her, "How are you and mini Sloan doing?"

"Good, we're doing good. How's mini O'Malley and Mrs O'Malley?"

Callie smiles, "Also good!"

Daphne stands against the wall as she watches her interns do charts and gossip. Bailey conveniently comes around the corner at that time, sees the young resident, and stares at her confused, "Torres? Why are you standing around like a sad puppy?"

She jumps a little, Bailey catching her off guard, before sighing, "I don't think I can do this." She throws the chart she was holding onto the nurses station, "I mean, it's my first day as a resident and I've already failed! Everyone is doing something e-even Izzie is saving a deer, but me?"

"Oh no! I'm stuck watching as my interns gossip about me, the pregnant resident who is dating the player! I mean if I get out of breath walking up the stairs, how am I gonna gonna handle being a mom and a surgeon, o-or being a girlfriend, sister, friend, mother, and a surgeon!"

She turns back to Bailey, her eyes frantic, "I don't know what to do anymore! I was sooo full of light before everything, and I just feel like I've lost it all!"

Bailey sighs, a sad look on her face. She holds Daphnes hand and walks her over to the waiting rooms couch, sitting the young girl down, "I know, I know. I understand how you feel honey. Believe me, when I found out I was pregnant I debated everything too, scared I wouldn't be the woman I am, or the surgeon I can be."

"But you know what helped me through it?" Daphne shakes her head and Bailey gives her a warm smile, the first of many to come, "The beautiful little baby that you will see everyday. That beautiful little baby that has two genius, doctors as parents."

"You will be an amazing mother. You will be an amazing
surgeon. You will continue to be an amazing girlfriend, sister, and friend. That will never change Daphne Torres."

Daphne stares at the woman with teary eyes and a sad but happy smile. She reaches forward and pulls the woman into a hug, "Thank you. Thank you, Bailey, truly."

"Call me Miranda dear"

Hey y'all, again, so sorry this chapter is so short but I didn't feel like writing a whole surgical case so instead I made it more about Daphne.

I know I said I was gonna make Daphne a neuro and peds surgeon, but what do y'all think? I think peds suits her honestly but I can't decide. Let me know.

Also, loved Bailey this chapter, probably one of my favorite chapters so far just because of the realness of it.
