"Bella? Are you listening?" My brother's voice brings me out of my daydreams. "Yea, yea." I lie to him, my mind still elsewhere. "So? Do you know a place?" Hermione asks kindly. "A place? What for?" I ask, clearly not knowing what they were talking about, earning an eye-roll from everyone. "Yeah, good thing you're paying attention." Fred jokes. Fred, If he wasn't this complicated then I would've paid attention. If he wasn't this complex then I wouldn't be thinking about him and answering questions. "A place where we can meet up with Dumbledore's Army. It has to be big, so everyone can fit, and somewhere where Umbridge can't find us." Harry states. "Sorry, I have no idea," I answer. That's where your mind should be, Bella, Dumbledore's Army. Not Fred and his stupid kisses. "Don't worry, we'll find something," Luna says kindly. "Yeah, as long as Umbridge doesn't find out, we're good." Ron fills in. "Maybe we can do it somewhere in Hogsmeade?" I suggest. "Then we can only practise on the days that we're going there," Hermione says. She has a point but I don't see anyone coming up with a better plan. "Hermione is right. It needs to be somewhere around the castle." Harry says. "Good luck finding a place around the castle where Umbridge won't find us, brother," I argued back. "Harry?" Ginny interrupts. "What happens if Umbridge does find out?" That is a good question but before my brother could answer the Weasley girl, Hermione spoke up. "who cares? I mean, it's sort of exited, isn't it? Breaking the rules." She said, surprising us all. "Who are you and what have you done with Hermione Granger?" Ron asks as we all laugh. "Anyway, at least we know one positive thing that came from it," I say smirking at my brother as I thought back at the meeting we had. "What's that?" Harry asks. "Cho couldn't take her eyes off you, could she?" I teased my brother.

After a while, we all went to the great hall together for dinner. I sat next to George and Harry as they were talking with Oliver about practice. "I'm still a little disappointed that you've decided not to try out, Bell." George turned to me. "I told you a million times, quidditch is just not my thing," I answered while poking my food with my fork. "Besides, with the owls coming up and the DA, I'd barely have time to play quidditch," I argued. "Fine, but you'll have to try next year," George states. "I'll think about it," I answer him earning an eye-roll. I think he had found out that 'I'll think about it' means 'Just drop it, it ain't gonna happen'. "Anyways, I'm going to the common room if anyone needs me." I start to stand up but get stopped by Fred. "You barely touched your food. Sit back down and eat something." He orders. "I'm not hungry. Besides I've got a lot to do," I say as I turn to leave. "Bella," Fred calls after me but I just keep on walking.

I enter an empty common room and sit down on the couch. I grab my books and start to do some homework. Not so long though as someone enters the room like 10 minutes later. "Hey Bell," Fred says as he walks over to me. "Here, in case you get hungry." He hands me a piece of bread. "Thanks," I take it, knowing that I'm probably just gonna throw it away later. "What are you working on?" He asks as he looks over my shoulder into my book. "herbology" I answer as I try not to blush. All of a sudden he grabs my book and puts it away. "Hey! I was working on that." I protest but he grabs my wrist and drags me to his dorm room. He gently pushed me onto his bed and closed the door. "Fred, what is this?" I ask him. "I think we need to talk." He answers. "And we couldn't talk downstairs because?" I ask him as I make myself comfortable in his bed. "Because I don't want anyone to interrupt us." He says as he sits next to me on the bed. "Alright, what do you want to talk about?" I ask knowing exactly what he wants to talk about. "I think you know that." He answers.  I didn't say anything. I had nothing to say. He was the one who kissed me, twice. "You were a little distracted earlier." He says. "What would be the cause of that?" I answer sarcastically to myself but he still heard it of course. "I'm sorry if I have confused you or anything," He starts. "IF you have confused me? Fred, you kissed me then told me it was a huge mistake and only a few days later you kissed me again. You have confused me." I say, getting no response. I sigh as I get off the bed. "You know what? Let's just forget about it, okay? Pretend that it never happened. Then everything can go back to how it was." I say as I make an attempt to leave Fred's room but he came to stand before me right when I was about to open the door. "No, that's not-- I can't---" Fred starts two sentences but instead of completing them, he slams his lips on mine once again.

He walks us back to his bed where we lie down, our lips still connected. After a while, I decided to pull away. "Fred," I start but he just reconnects his lips with mine and once again I pull away. "Fred," I repeat. "hm?" he answers as he tries to kiss me again. "Fred, What are you doing?" I said as I pushed him away. "You're doing it again you know. You keep kissing me after you say the last time was a mistake. What's going on?" I ask, getting tired of all this. "I'm sorry, Bell." Is all he answers before taking a deep breath. "No, You're doing it again. You're saying you're sorry and that it was a mistake. Tell me what's going on." I interrupted so I wouldn't get my heart broken again. "I don't know what's going on, Bella. That's the thing. I can't tell you why I keep kissing you. I can't give you the answers that you deserve." He burst out. And I kept quiet. "Maybe it's better if we don't see each other for a while." He quietly says after taking a deep breath. "What? No that's not what I-" I started to argue but Fred interrupted. "I'm only hurting you, Bella. It's for the better if we stay away from each other. Just for a while. So I can think about what I want. About what I need." He states. "Yhea, maybe it's for the better," I say quietly not wanting to believe it. "I should go," I stand up wanting this conversation to be over. "Yhea, probably," Fred answers. And as I was about to open the door Fred called out my name. "Yes?" I answer. I can see the doubt in his eyes as if he isn't sure to say what he wants to say. "I'm sorry," He apologises. "Don't worry about it," was all I said before leaving his room.
