He felt stupid. Like class clown stupid. His mouth was like a filter that wouldn't shut off. Patrick threw water in his face as he looked at himself through the diamond crested mirror.

"It's an honor to be a runner up beside this man becuase I feel like he's as close to me as they come."

Patrick felt stupid as soon as he said that sentence. "As close as they come?" Patrick muttered. He's Aaron Rodgers for goodness sake he's Farther then close, but no Patrick was over here tooting his own horn because again his mouth didn't have a fucking filter.

Patrick hangs his head. He wants to think that it was just him trying to actually self toot his own horn but that line goes farther then that when your speaking about someone like Aaron Rodgers. Whom has been playing for 15 years.

He lets on a exasperated sigh as he hears the door open. Part of him was expecting it to be Rodgers ready to give him an ear full but it actually was his fellow teammate Travis Kelce and Patrick released a breath he didn't know he was holding.

Travis wasn't much better tho.

"Bruh..." Travis said laughing.

"You must like praising yourself huh?" Travis said leaning against the sinks his hand holding up his chin as he sent Patrick a smirk. Patrick sent him daggers out of the corner of his eyes.

"Oh so your coming at me. Acting like I'm the one that said that to Aaron freaking Rodgers." Travis said feigning that he was hurt.

"I didn't necessarily say it to his face." Patrick said looking away grabbing a hand towel and wiping the rest of the water off his face.

"You seriously kind of did." Travis said shrugging as Patrick closed his eyes.

"What was you thinking is what I'm wondering?" Travis said leaning up stroking his chin as if he was trying to think of all the reasons how Patrick was stupid in that one moment.

"I don't know." Patrick whispered.

"I kinda just word vomited, you know?" He said hanging the hand towel back up on its rack.

"That wasn't word vomiting. Word vomiting is when you say stuff without thought and it doesn't make any fucking sense. You clearly was thinking about what you was saying." Travis said his smirk getting even bigger if it could.

"I mean I guess it kinda makes sense that your better then Aaron Rodgers." Travis said rubbing his chin again. "I mean you do pass him up on some attributes." Travis said a glint in his eyes as Patrick's brows furrowed.

"I-i Don't think that." Patrick said his voice stuttering as it came out barely above a whisper.

"Then why did you say it?" Travis asked.

That was the million dollar question. Why did he say it? He wants to say that he was just trying to impress Rodgers. Saying something like that isn't really impressing tho.
