Dinah/You - Wrong room

"Hey, mom, will you please relax? It's just like when I go to see dad and tou don't have flip out moment's then, so please calm down. I'll only be here for a few days then the tournament is over and I swear that I won't say no if you try to pick me up from the airport when I have to come back." I explained to my mom over the phone, not really understanding why she was so worry about my out of state trip. I was currently waiting for my baggage to return to me but I wasn't having any luck at getting it quickly, so I kept talking to my mom to pass the time and assure her that I wouldn't be harmed on this trip.

"(Y/N), I'm not freaking out, I'm just worrying because despite the fact that you go to see your father when you need to, you always have someone with you and you've never stayed somewhere alone before. I just don't want something to happen to you while you're there." My mom explained, casuing my to nod a little, knowing that what she had jsut said was something that I shoud have expected. In fact, I really don't see why I wasn't expecting this kind of answer then I stopped talking the first time.

"Mom, have you forgotten the reason that I felt home in the first place? If anyone tries to harm me other then inside of a match, I will kick their ass and then call the cops. Just like you told me to when I started getting really good at fighting, alright?" I assured her, knowing that I would do just that. After all I was a brown belt in Karate, so I at least stood a chance if someone tried to jump me on the street while I was walking or something like that.

"I'm sure you would babygirl, just promise me that you will stay safe out there?" She questioned. I nodded slightly as I watched the baggage line before suddenly realizing that my mother couldn't hear me nod. Just as I opened my mouth to speak, I spotted my suitcase as well as my Karate bag and smiled happily to myself, thankful that I could soon get out of this freaking place.

"Yeha, mom. I promise that I will stay safe. I've got to go, my babgs just arrived and I still have to check in at the hotel. I'll call you in the morning after I've gotten settled in. Bye, love you!" I told her while smiling. When she replied with an 'I love you' or her own, I hung up and then walked forward to get my things off of the line. Once I had my things, I walked towards the parking lot where I knew someone would be waiting to give me the keys to my rental car.

When I arrived in the parking lot, sure enough there was a man standing beside a car that looked like the one I had picked out when I called for the car. That was one reason I recgonized the car. The other was the fact that the man was holding a sign that had my last name on it. I smiled softly at the man and walked over to him, getting a hand shake from him before he handed me the keys to the car and then walked off to meet someone else.

I took the keys and walked to the back of the car, quickly opening the trunk so that I could put my things in the back. Once all of my things were in the back, I shut the trunk and then quickly made my way to the front of the car befre getting in. I buckled in and started the car before I pulled out my phone. I immediately typed in the name of the hotel that I wanted to get to on my Googe and soon I had the directions to the place pulled up.

Pulling out of the parking lot, I started to follow the voice from my phone that was giving me directions, knowing that I would most likely get into some serious trouble if I happened to be caught using my cell phone while driving. Not wanting to get arrested before my big tournment, I decided to play it safe.

When I finally arrived at the hotel parking garage, I smiled softly to myself and parked. Taking a moment to close out all of the different apps that I had pulled up when I started to exit out of Google, I soon got out of the car and headed to the trunk so that I could get my things. Once I had the trunk open, I grabbed my Karate duffle bag and slipped it over my shoulder like I was suppost to befre I pulled my suitcase out, sitting it on the ground.

I walked towards the entrance of hotel and smiled happily at the man that greeted me at the door and soon opened it for me. I thanked him and rolled my suitcase into the lobby as I walked inside, making my way over to the check in desk with a small smile still on my face. Sitting behind the desk was a rather cute redhead with a thinking look on her face as she read something off of my computer. When I arrived in front of her, she smiled happily at me and I couldn't help but smile back a little wider then before.

"Is there something that I can help you with?" She asked in a kind voice, only getting a nod in responce from me. She looked as if she were waiting for me to say something in return but before I could tell her anything, I had to remember how the room had been reserved. I remember being told that it could be under the Dojo's name, but I didn't want to look stupid. Finally, after a moment of thinking, I gave up and decided to wing it.

"Yes actually. I was told that a room would be reserved for me when I arrived? Name's (Y/N, Y/L/N) and it shouldl be reserved under a Karate Dojo." I explained while lightly tapping my fingers on the top of the counter that I was leaning against. she nodded a little before turning back to her computer, typing something in real quick before nodding. She reached into a desk drawer , shuffled around before she sat back up and offered me a room key, which I happily took from her.

I walked away from the desk, rolling my suitcase with me while I looked down at the card to know that room number I needed to get too. I quickly made my way to the elevator and pressed the button that would take me to the fifth floor, now starting to hum to myself. I contiuned humming to myself the whole ride up to the floor and even kept going as I walked towards the room number on the card. 512.

When I put the card in the key slot, the little light turned green and I smiled before walking inside. I closed the door and turned around, getting ready to walk towards on of the beds to that I could put my things down only to freeze in my tracks. Someone was standing between me and the beds. Though, it wasn't just anyone. It was Dinah Jane from Fifth Harmony. Immediately my eyes trailed over her, taking in what she was wearing, which happened to be a pair of black leggings, a grey hoddie that read 'Lover not a fighter' and a black beanie that had Beyonce written on it. I mentally smiled like an idiot at the fact that I was standing before my crush since I'd watched her on the X-Factor.

"H-how did you get into my room!?" Dinah shouted, pullin gmy out of my thoughts. I blinked a few times before looking down at the card that was in my hand. I looked back at the door that I had just walked through before looking back at Dinah, holding the key out to her.

"I-I just used the key that I was given. I swear, I'm not some creepy fan or anything like that. I-I mean, yeah, I'm a fan of yours but I'm not the kind that is willing to break into hotel rooms." I stammered out, unable to help feeling a little nervous. After all, I was in a really bad position. I heard Dinah giggle slightly as she took the card from me, only to return it a few moments later.

"Well fan that's not willing to break into hotel rooms, can I get your real name?" Dinah asked, getting a nod from me.

"(Y/N), and it's great to finally get to meet you." I said excidedly, unable to keep from smiling. She laughed slightly before smilng at me.

"It's great to meet you too, though the situation is a little awkward. Look, I really hate to do this becasue you seem like a really nice girl, but the girls are going to be here soon and I don't want them to think I'm crazy for inviting a stanger to my room. Is there any way that we maybe talk later? I'd love to get to know you more." She said the a little wink, causing my cheeks to flush slightly and my heart to flutter.

"Yeah, that'd be great. Here's your room key back and I'll hopefully see you soon." I said while offering her the key again, smilng softly, though frowning slightly when she shook her head.

"Keep it, I don't need an extra and if we get closer, you can use it." Dinah said, giving me another wink as I nodded. I turned around and walked out of the room with a pounding heart and a stomach filled with butterflies.
