"we have gathered here today due to the conspiring between the ladies of avatar. i call my first and only witness to the stand."
asami laughed loudly as she walked over to the "stand", sitting in the chair. haru walked over to where she sat and had a rolling stones magazine in hand.
"now miss soto, do you swear to say the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help you nirvana?"
giggling, she nodded, "i swear." haru studied asami before continuing, "can you recall the conversation you just had with the ladies of the gang?"
"i can recall. we talked about committing arson towards the kaen estate."
"and why is this?"
"because that house is full of shit and caused too many problems and a lot of heartache— no offense zuko."
"none taken."
haru nodded, writing down something in a notepad, "i see, i see. so are you openly admitting to conspiring to commit a crime?"
"we didn't act on our urges, just planned it out. so i mean, we did conspire."
"no further questions your honor."
bolin nodded, "now time for the defense. mako, you may rise."
"thank you your honor. now miss soto, you did say that the kaen estate has caused many problems yes?"
asami shook her head in agreement, "i would definitely say that."
"so do you belive that the community would be better off without it?"
"yes, one hundred percent."
"so wouldn't it be an effective action to get rid of it once and for all, which is why you ladies conspired to get rid of it?"
"yes. we thought for the betterment of society and for us as a group--" asami stopped to regain composure, "for us a group to burn it down.."
