katara looked over at her phone to see that her boyfriend jet was calling. she picked up the phone with a quiet "hello?"
"hey babe, how are you doing?" jet responded, a slight edge in his voice.
"i'm doing good, what's up?"
"i have an idea for our date on friday night."
"hmm, i'm interested" katara said as she perked up, softly smiling at her phone.
"i wanna go see your brother's band! they're performing on friday and i wanna go check them out."
"i don't see why not, i was planning on going anyways but we can make it a date."
"cool, i'll see you friday night." jet said as he hung up.
just my luck, i'll have to see aang again... now don't get me wrong i like jet, but the relationship isn't there.
i had the biggest crush on aang before i got with jet, but then he got with ty lee. so to cope, i got with jet tatakai.
two months into aang's & ty lee's relationship they broke up, leaving aang single but no way i'm going to be the person to break up with someone to get with someone else.
it's been three months since the beginning of our relationship and i'm not feeling it anymore but i don't wanna break his heart..
i know i'm probably causing more damage by dragging this relationship on, there's also the fact that i still would love to be with aang.
but i just.. i don't know anymore...
"KATARA!!" sokka shouted, annoyed that his sister had been ignoring him.
"huh?" katara turned her head to see her brother standing in the doorway, "oh sorry sokka, i was thinking about something... what's up?"
"zuko, haru, and aang are coming over to practice for our performance on friday. i'm telling you so i don't hear any complaints about it later."
"alright, thanks for the warning. i'll put in my headphones."
"but i was kind of hoping you'd come down and listen to your awesome brother practice!-" sokka added cockily. "toph's already here too so."
