Prologue pt 2

Meliodas' POV

'Damn it! I can't believe I hurt Gedeon, I have to find Elizabeth fast, I can't let Gedeon get any more hurt than he is' I thought as I sped through the sky as fast as I could. I could see the stigma base that I was working from at the moment, I hope she isn't on a mission right now, I have no clue what I'm going to do if she isn't, I slowed down as I got ready to land. As soon as I landed, I quickly ran to the tent Elizabeth was usually in, I ran in and I let out a sigh of relief that I didn't realise I had been keeping in, she looked at me with a soft smile, but looked confused when she saw the state I was in "Meliodas, are you o-" I cut her off

"Please we need to hurry! I... I accidentally hurt Gedeon, I need you to heal him as soon as possible, I can't let me be the cause of pain for him..." I trailed off looking to to the ground, she ran past me and I looked at her confused,

"Well then? Let's go, I know how much your nephew means to you, come on, lets get him healed and safe." she said with as smile, I smiled back and ran with her, once we were outside I quickly burst up into the air with Elizabeth following close behind me, I sped up so I was going as fast as possible, and we quickly arrived, landing quietly on the ground, by this point Gedeon had passed out and Elizabeth instantly started healing him, "Unfortunately, he's lost a heart, he had a second one damaged but I was able to heal it, as long as he doesn't try to go into battle, it'll heal perfectly fine, along with the lung that was also damaged," She concluded with a sad smile, I looked down, 

"I still took one of his hearts away from him, that's pretty much unforgivable among royalty never mind family, damn it," I mumbled just loud enough for Elizabeth to hear she was about to comfort me when I saw her tense and I knew exactly why, I turned around to see Zeldris, looking like he is about to fully lose control, before I could say anything he yelled,

"STAY AWAY FROM MY SON, DAMN YOU MELIODAS, DAMN YOU, YOU GODDESS BITCH" he yelled as he lunged towards Elizabeth, I quickly picked up my sword and blocked the attack, I talked as calmly as I could,

"Brother, Elizabeth just healed Gedeon, he will be okay, just make sure he doesn't go fighting or his healed 6th will be damaged again, with rest he will be okay, I swear from the bottom of my heart I never meant to hurt him, I'm sorry," I said and pushed his blade back and pushed him back for some space then I nodded to Elizabeth, she nodded back then we flew off, "I'm sorry... Gedeon."

3rd Pov

Zeldris decided not to follow them and went to his son who at this point, was slowly starting to regain consciousness, before Zeldris could get a word in, Gedeon spoke with tears running down his face, "I-I'm sorry dad, I... I failed... I failed, I failed, I failed!" The boy yelled between sobs, he never felt weaker, Zeldris picked his son up, careful not to hurt him,

"No, you didn't, your first mission was a success, you wiped out the camp and even managed to keep up with Meliodas for a while, you faced him whilst he was using his demonic power and using his full counter, you did good," he said to his son, hugging him into his chest, Gedeon quickly cried himself to sleep in his father's arms, exhaustion taking over again as Zeldris flew back to the demon realm, his son in his arms.
