3rd person POV
Gedeon looked around at the piles of dead giant bodies that surrounded him, giant after giant had attacked him, most stronger than the woman he had fought earlier, he only killed about half of them, he didn't want to be the reason the giants went extinct. He was already full from drinking all that blood earlier so he took just the souls and went on his way, now a lot more powerful thanks to the power souls of the giants.
Word spread very quickly of demons and a vampire running around killing humans and now giants, Meliodas was sure that it was Gedeon, he knew that this meant he was gaining power as fast as possible but he could only guess as to why.
Gedeon now had the power he needed to hold open the window, he would gain immortality then plague Meliodas for a bit before trying to break the seal. "Grandfather, I have amassed the power you needed me to gain, I am ready to accept the curse of immortality for a while." Gedeon spoke, a tear quickly appeared above him, the same powerful aura emitting from it,
"Very good, activate your powers and use all your might to keep this window open, I will only need a few seconds to curse you." The Demon king spoke, Gedeon nodded, quickly activating his powers and moved to hold the tear open. The amount of power coming from the edge of the window was burning his skin, and desperately trying to close around him, Gedeon grunted, his face showing pure concentration, what looked to be a giant heart with a massive eye in the middle appeared and slowly integrated itself into Gedeon, quickly he could feel the curse in his body and the burden of keeping open the portal vanished, he dropped to the ground in exhaustion before slowly getting up an kneeling before the window,
"Thank you grandfather, I will not fail you." Gedeon spoke, his head dipped towards the floor and rested on of his fists in front of him to keep the boy steady,
"I know you won't. I will check in on you ever so often, give you certain missions and such, now go rest, the combination of you holding this tear open, the affects of my power on your weakened state and the curse forcing itself into your body has exhausted you. You are dismissed my grandson." The man spoke before the tear disappeared and Gedeon landed on the ground in a sitting position, resting up against a heavily damaged tree. Gedeon was starting to doze off when he felt a powerful presence speeding towards him, the young demon was so exhausted that he couldn't determine who it was, but there was few people who could have such a powerful presence in the human world, in fact, only two that he knew of. But he knew that a certain hated demon would be the one coming, but by the time he had figured it out, the other immortal demon appeared before him, looking down at him. He glanced away looking at the piles of giant bodies then back to him. The only reason he rushed over here was because of the use of the demon king's powers, when he showed up he only saw Gedeon, collapsed against a tree,
"Gedeon? What's going on? I felt my fathers power..." Meliodas trailed off, he let out a half hearted chuckle and spoke tiredly,
"You aren't the only immortal demon now, had to keep a window open so he could curse me, good luck trying to stop me from breaking the seal now. Grandfather is watching, I suggest you leave, I am not in the right state to fight you right now but you know I will if I have to." Gedeon spoke as he stumbled to his feet, barely able to keep his eyes open. Meliodas shook his head before dashing forwards and hit Gedeon hard on his nape, knocking him out.
