(mini chapter) The reunion

3rd pov (21 years before the anime)

Gedeon was walking around the kingdom of liones, he wasn't sure where he was going or what he was going to do, it was proven that he couldn't get that fragment from Meliodas and he had no clues as to where the other pieces could be. 'Maybe I can get some information from some gossiping holy knights as usual. Though they usually end up a dead end they still give me something to do' Gedeon thought, starting to zone out of his surroundings. "The dark truth." Gedeon muttered under his breath, activating a spell to see if he could find anything interesting in his surroundings. 'odd, it is very hidden but I feel a demonic presence that is most definitely not Meliodas' power, it felt like Fraudrin's, 'I must investigate further' Gedeon thought and focused on the power. He had already subconsciously started walking towards him. He was close he just had to turn this corner then...

*BANG*

Gedeon's POV

I had just ran straight into the diamond holy knight, Drayfus. But something wasn't right, Fraudrin's power was coming from him. Diamond Hendrickson was next to him but he seemed to be under a spell. I smirked,

"Would you like to explain to me how you got through the seal? Fraudrin." I spoke, pure surprise on his face. He quickly took a knee in front of me and looked at the ground,

"A-ah! Prince Gedeon! I apologise for not looking for you, I-I didn't know if you were alive." Fraudrin spoke frantically, I grimaced in annoyance, he dare think I would be dead? I guess I did die, though.

"You dare assume I would be dead? You dare assume that just because I was left in a weakened state in this world that I wouldn't survive?" I spoke in a deadly tone. My façade breaks as I crack up in laughter, "Y-you should have seen your face! You looked like you were about to wet yourself!" Fraudrin looked up with an unamused frown, "I assume you have some sort of plan to break the seal, so far I've been searching for the fragments for nearly three hundred years but I have only found one piece and Meliodas keeps it close to him at all times." I spoke, frustrated with myself,

"Actually I have a plan for that, I plan to kill the holy knight grandmaster then blame it on the sins, I make Dreyfus and Hendrickson the grandmasters, then we have free reign of liones." I smirked at his plan,

"A very good plan. Just keep in mind that Zaratras has far more strength than the average human, he might actually put up a fight, I suggest you find out what his favourite food is, poison it then give it to him then kill him, makes things easier for us. I've actually had an idea for a while now to seal most of my power away and become a holy knight, with your plan, I can rise through the ranks quickly and efficiently, you basically have Dreyfus' son to train so I'll work as an assistant grand master to Hendrickson, it means I'll be closer to him and manipulate him further if needed." I finished, Fraudrin smirks right back, already agreeing with my plan,

"If you want these humans to respect you, it could be a good idea to start as a prodigy apprentice holy knight to Hendrickson, that way you can earn trust and respect. And even if you seal away a lot of your power, you will still have a lot, making it even easier to get to the top." Fraudrin suggested, I hummed in agreement,

"Once you have Meliodas out of the kingdom, I will make my move. Dismissed." I ordered, Fraudrin bowed and walked to wherever he was going to get the poison. I don't know why I didn't think to do that myself but oh well. Time for the release of the commandments.

Father, you shall rule...

Just a short chapter to transition into the main story, also wanted to get something out before. Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Extra note: I may or may not get out another chapter before or just after Christmas, need to keep myself distracted until the big day.
