Gedeon's POV (10 years before the start of the anime)

I watched in the shadows as the sins made their way to Zaratras' office, I had to contain my laughter when I was faced with the visual of the giant Diane not being able to stand up straight due to the ceiling being so low down for her. At the same time, I kind of feel bad for her, I've spent a fair amount of time, well not that she knows, I was in my imperfect giant mode when I used to spend time with her. I wondered why I recognised the one in green armour that goes by king, I wonder why he's in his human form, I wonder if I would recognise him in his real form. Gowther... I wonder who is under that armour, is his name really just a coincidence? His powers are the same and the way he talks is also the same, I wonder. Merlin is in her armour which surprisingly isn't some skimpy outfit, I wouldn't be surprised if she has noticed my presence, we've been hanging out for a while now, how many years? centuries I'm not sure, besides the teasing that I never hear the end of, we get along quite well. Honestly I would have preferred if Meliodas and her were a thing other the goddess whore but oh well. That man, I believe his name was Escanor, he has the grace that belonged to Mael, it seems that neither my uncle or Merlin have noticed that, how odd. The one in red, Ban, he is immortal, he must have been the one to drink the fountain of youth, he probably met Elaine before the original forest was burnt down by my red demon, and order from my father, he must have found out about my weak spot for the fairies and made me burn down the forest. And, ugh, Meliodas no thinking needed for the traitor.

As they were about to enter, Merlin looked in my direction, to which I slightly stepped out of the shadow to show her my smirk before disappearing back into the darkness. As I did that, Meliodas and king opened the doors and walked in on the horrific site, well horrific for them, tame for me,

"Grandmaster!" Meliodas shouted out in worry,

"That's brutal." Ban spoke with a slight waver in his voice,

"He's a pincushion!" Diane spoke I let out a quiet laugh before silencing myself again, she ruined the moment in the best way possible,

"Who would do this?" King asked, his voice completely quivering,

"More importantly, why did they target the leader of the holy knights?" Merlin questioned, oh how I wanted to jump out of hiding and give a snarky comment, 

"She's right. The grandmaster is the linchpin of the kingdom's defense, he's practically a war god." Ban spoke, for once with a good reason to do so, "Whoever killed him is a traitor to the kingdom who must be plotting to overthrow Liones!" He concluded, this was much more obvious though, he was basically just voicing everyone's opinion,

"And the knew precisely what this loss was gonna mean." Diane continued, only to be cut of by a gasp from King, it seems he senses them, I'm confused as to how anyone else didn't notice sooner, they've been gathering for a while now,

"I sense something!" King exclaimed to everyone else, to which Meliodas ran to the nearest window, which happened to be right next to me, great.

"Wait! Those are..." He trailed off, "We're surrounded by every knight in the kingdom!" Meliodas reported,

"There are too many of them out there to count. What are the planning to-" Diane was cut off by the castle trembling, I guess this is where I leave the show before those humans think I'm with them, this show was quite entertaining though I must say. Hm, maybe I'll give Merlin a little hint,

"[], I found out the next king of chaos is in Camelot, the young prince Arthur seems like he is meant to be the king of them all, if you focus enough, you can feel is presence, although that could just be me, well good luck, I must take me leave before any of your friends see me. See ya!" I whispered to Merlin before teleporting away, giving a wave as she turns to look at me,
