I got off easy as far as punishment goes I was suspended for two days and had detention after school every day for an hour, which wasn't bad since I had about a month left of school.
Aunt Judy was furious at me for breaking Kat's nose. I had told her I was so sorry even though that was a complete lie.
She stomped out of the office telling me wait until my teachers had sent my homework to the office which would be about 10 minutes and she would meet me at the diner after that.
While Rosy sent out emails to all of my teachers I decided to take that nap I didn't get. My body and head hurt from today's events.
"All done honey." Rosy said as the last of my teachers sent my homework with a student to the office. I rose from my chair and as I stood up a sharp pain exploded in my skull. My knees buckled underneath me. I fell to the ground and Rosy rushed over to me.
"Oh my are you alright!" She asked as she checked me over. I nodded my head and stood.
"Just a tad light headed." she looked over me and nodded handing me my homework.
I left the office as fast as I could, homework in hand. I turned the corner to my locker and ran into a wall, landing on my butt papers flying everywhere.
Huh, I didn't recall a wall being there. I looked up to see that the wall was actually a person, a guy actually, the one from earlier.
I look up as he ran his hand through his hair and he bent down to grab some of the papers littering the hallway.
"Hey I'm Drew." he said as he handed me the papers he had gathered. I smiled and took them careful not to drop them as I stood up ready to get the hell out of here.
I rushed down the hall down the stairs and finally to the lobby. A bunch of kids from my class were there doing P.E. playing mat ball. One of the girls with fire like red hair jogged up to me.
"Hey Phoebe," Sam said as she approached me. She grabbed my arm to stop me from walking as I waved to her.
"That was a kick ass fight party at my place on Friday and I would love if you showed up." Sam said pulling her hair into a bun as she did.
"Um...okay sure." I said just so she would let go and so I could leave.
She smiled her pearly whites, let go, and jogged back to the gym. Weird I NEVER spoke to Sam she was the dance team captain and I was a average student everyone ignored.
I smiled as I spotted my shiny black 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS in the front of the parking lot. I ran my hand over the top of the hood looking up toward the dark gray sky.
My late parents rebuilt this car in the first year of their marriage leaving it in my will when they passed, it was their baby before I came along.
The inside of my car was cool due to the clouds overhead my hands gripped the wheel as I banged my head in frustration against the wheel my head already pounding.
Cranking over the engine I drove the car out of the parking lot, leaving dust in my wake as I tore out of the place like a bat out of hell. I turned up the radio blaring some new song I barely knew the words to but I sang along anyway.
The diner my aunt owned was about two blocks from the school. It was the only place that severed food in Cresent Falls, and the best. Aunt Judy's diner was a fifties styled diner on the edge of town.
I put my car into park and jogged into the diner ready to hear my punishment from aunt.
I walked into JUDY'S and for the second time that day I ran into a wall, but just like the previous it wasn't a wall it was my boyfriend Tyson. Excuse again I mean my ex boyfriend Tyson.
