Chapter 219: Extinguish Star

Just before the group reach the lower floor, Erin catches the presence of a familiar evil aura.

"Hold on." The goddess stopped on her tracks and the others followed. She slowly opened a door to the right and a loud laughter echoed in the space.

"Guhahhaha! It hasn't been that long, Voltaire-chaaaan!"

"Grendel!"

"That's right, it's Grendel-sama who can't help but slaughter all of you! Since they said I can fool around for a bit, I came here to continue from where we left off last time! Guhahahahahaha!"

Erin was about to transform into her armor but Rias stopped her.

"Erin, you can't promote to True Queen yet."

"But, Rias! I know very well how strong he is. There's no way we can go against him head on without using that form!"

"You should use your power against Crom Cruach or Rizevim Livan Lucifer who may be waiting for us after this. We have no choice but to fight him as a team."

After a minute of contemplation, Erin nodded to Rias.

"Okay. I think that is more suitable."

Rias shot Erin an appreciative smile. She then gives her signal to the others with her eyes. The rest understood her message and prepared to attack Grendel.

*(WOOSH!)*!

"I'm going first!"

Erin heads towards Grendel at high velocity by spreading out her Dragon wings.

"Oh, oh, oh! Yeah, that's it! I can't help but be happy since you simply come at me head on!" laughed Grendel happily.

Issei transformed into his armor and followed after Erin. Kiba also appeared and summoned several Dragon-knights.

The blonde knight then takes out a single sword which is the Demonic Emperor Sword, Gram.

The three friends attacked Grendel simultaneously and smoked arised from where Grendel was standing.

"We're also helping!"

"Let's go Xenovia!"

Xenovia and Irina made a powerful swing with their Durandal and mass-produced holy-demonic sword, but it only made a small scratch at Grendel's body.

"How about this!"

Irina spreads her white wings in the air and creates a huge light in her hand. The torrent of light hits Grendel but the dragon laughed at this.

"Guhahahaha! It merely burned me!"

"What the- He only received minor damage where he simply burned a bit of his skin!" uttered Issei in disbelief. He boosted multiple times to attack the dragon but his efforts were in vain.

"Kuh. He's such a pain in the ass." Erin spoke in frustration. She signalled to Kiba and Issei to attack together once Grendel shows his blind spot.

"Found it! Attack at his central point at the count of 3!"

"Roger!"

Erin prepared a lightning blast while Issei focused on releasing a powerful beam. Kiba gripped Gram to strengthen its aura and the dragon-knights that are following Kiba's command also have their demonic-swords which are ready to swing at Kiba's signal.

*(BOOOOOM!)*

The combined attack created a huge smoke. Once the smoke cleared out, it revealed Grendel who has blue blood bursting out from his body.
