This is a long one.

Your hands were shaking, and your heart was pounding, but you needed to do this for him.

You used to be the seeker on the Gryffindor Quidditch team you were amazing and a very valued player. You unfortunately had to leave your spot on the team after a very serious and traumatic injury that happened to you in a game. After the accident, you were never the same and became deathly petrified of flying or even touching a broomstick. This was terrible not only for you but for your whole team, and you felt terrible. You were always so brave and always got right back up after any injury, but this one was different. you still couldn't help but feel weak and useless. Your boyfriend, Oliver Wood, keeper and captain of the team, was so sad to see you leave the team but even more worried for your mental and physical health. You had too much pride to ever let him know you were scared and in pain but you didn't have to tell him he just knew and was always there for you and comforted you.

It was a stormy day and Oliver was set on practicing today, you really didn't want him to go out and play in this weather but there was nothing you could do to change his mind. The quidditch field was in use by another team for the whole day but that didn't stop Oliver so he brought the team somewhere else to practice you went alone to watch from the ground as always.

The practice went good as always the team flew down to the ground and headed back to the castle Oliver was the last to come to the ground where he met you waiting for him. He embraced you in a warm hug and kissed you.

"What did you think of today's practice?" He asked.

"Meh, you guys can do better," you say sarcastically.
He lets out a light laugh and wraps his arm around you as you two walk back to the castle.

"Oliver, stop touching me you're all wet," you say, struggling to be free from his arms.

"Oh, sorry. I'm too gross for my girlfriend to love me," he says, teasing you.

"You know I hate the texture of wet clothes," you say, laughing.

"I will love you from a distance," you add.

"You look so cold, though. Maybe I should just come over there and hug you so tight to keep you warm," he says with a mischievous face.

"Oh no, no way, stay back," you say, laughing as he begins to run towards you. You start turning back, but he quickly catches up to you, grabs you, and embraces you tight.

"Ahhh, the water it burns. IT BURNS!" You say, laughing and being dramatic. Oliver laughs and puts you down kissing all over your face. You hold his hand and run back to the castle for warmth.

"Y/n! I have terrible news!" Oliver says, rushing over to you as you are sitting on the couch by the fire reading.

"What? What's wrong!?" You say, sitting up to give your full attention to Oliver.

"The Gryffindor team is going to be in the big championship game!" Oliver starts.
