The next day, Hiroto and Terra were sitting in class, waiting for the bell to ring. After the events of the previous day, Hiroto was trying to keep even more of a low profile than usual- something Terra noticed.

"Hiro-kun, you're not still upset over yesterday, are you?" She asked as Hiroto lazily shook his head without lifting it.

"Don't get me wrong; I'm still not thrilled about the situation, but it is what it is," he replied flatly, his voice muffled by his arms.

"If you say so," Terra said, still a little concerned. "You just look really out of it . . . you did manage to get some sleep last night, right?"

Hiroto raised his head and gave her a blank stare. "Of course I did. Passed out as soon as I made it to my room. I'm just . . . if today is anything like yesterday, I need all the rest I can get." He placed his head back on his desk as Terra laughed.

"Oh? I guess I can understand that. You're not used to being the center of attention, and that girlfriend of yours is quite the handful," Terra teased.

"Cut it out, Terra!" Hiroto snapped back, his cheeks growing slightly red.

"Okay, okay," Terra shook her head and smirked. She could've kept it up for hours, but she decided to have mercy on him and change the subject. "So what do you think we're gonna do today? I hope it's combat training! I've been itching to see what my Quirk can do in a fight. I wonder who the teacher is. Do you know?"

"I don't know, Terra," Hiroto groaned. "What part of 'I need all the rest I can get' didn't you understand?"

"I was just asking," Terra faked a pout. "No need to be so grumpy about it."

"I just want a few more minutes of quiet before-" But it was too late. The rest of their classmates began to filter into the room, slowly evaporating the tranquil atmosphere. Then, all at once, the peace was completely shattered by a familiar voice.

"Oh darling!" Hiroto looked up to see Shion rushing over to him, followed closely by Sachi.

"I guess we're hitting the ground running today," Hiroto mumbled under his breath. This only amused Terra, who just decided to watch the spectacle play out.

"Darling, you left without saying goodnight yesterday. I'll forgive you this once, but don't let it happen again!" She got close to Hiroto and tried to plant a kiss on his cheek. Her lips never made it to their intended target, however, as they were intercepted by Sachi's hand.

"Begging your pardon, M'lady," Sachi said with mock reverence, "but what do you think you're doing?"

"I'm showing my boyfriend some affection." Shion glared at the girl. "Do you have a problem with that, little Miss Sugar and Spice."

"As a matter of fact, I do," Sachi replied sternly. "The bell's about to ring! This is hardly the time for public displays of affection."

"Who died and made you the boss?"

"The class did. We voted on it yesterday, remember? Or are you so full of yourself that you can't be bothered with what the rest of us are doing?"

"Ex-CUSE me?" Shion shot back indignantly. "Last time I checked, you came in second! My Hiro-kun is the one calling the shots, and I'm sure he wouldn't have a problem with this, would you, darling?"

"Why me? Why is it always me who can't get a moment's peace?" Hiroto muttered to himself as the girls continued their argument. It eventually escalated to the point where both girls stormed back to their desks in a huff, but not before Shion blew Hiroto a kiss, which only made him groan more.
