Hey everyone!
Wow... Two weeks again since I last posted? I truly apologize! I was away on vacation and then Halloween hit and I swear I'm really bad at time management 😅. It might be two weeks again before I post since I have a busy next week as well, but I will post when I can! To make it up to you, please enjoy the next THIRTEEN pages!

Vice principal Kazama-sensei sat behind his desk, pinching his gray mustache as he stared at the paper before him. His office smelled of stale meat and other spices, and the far wall was made of golden lined windows that allowed plenty of light into the space. He looked up at me, which made his chair creak.
"Haninozuka-san, do you know why I called you in today?" The old man questioned, his forehead wrinkling above his glasses.
"I'm afraid I don't, Sensei" I said, a little apologetically. The man nodded and placed the piece of paper in his hand on the desk surface before him.
"It appears two students have reported you for starting a fight with them" He said, his voice gravely with age.
Oh. I thought. That's what this is about? I should have known those two were going to do something like this.
I started to think of the boys that had harassed Haruhi a few chapters ago. Clearly they wanted to get back at the Host Club, and what better way to do it then indirectly? They were probably embarrassed that they were knocked out by a girl.
"Oh. That." I said aloud. "May I ask what they reported?" The mantel clock that sat on the desk between us ticked, the second hand steadily moving along the face undisturbed. Kazama-sensei leaned forward in his chair, making it squeak once again.
"They didn't say much. Just that you started a fight with them unprovoked" His eyes met mine and I was surprised by the softness in them. "But that's not how it went, right? A lady such as yourself wouldn't have engaged in such ruffian acts would you?"
His smile was like a punch in the gut. He didn't believe that I could have been in a fight because of my gender.
"You're right," I said. "I was wrongfully accused." The words felt like they were weighing my tongue down as I said them, disappointment stabbing at my shoulder blades.
"That's what I thought" He stated, his smile partly hidden by his mustache. For the first time, I noticed that something green was poking out of his goatee. "I'm sorry to have called you out for this and wasting your time" .
"It's okay Kazama-sensei" I said as we both got up out of our seats. He followed me to the door to his office and opened it for me.
"You have a good day Haninozuka-san. I apologize again for wasting your time." I stepped out into the hallway and the door closed behind me. Before me, more windows stretched the length of the corridor, casting light and shadows onto the tiles at my feet. I glanced over to the giant clock tower that stood tall in its pink glory beyond the glass- reading the time on one of its four faces. School had been out for almost a half hour.
