Hey everyone!
I forgot to mention this last chapter, but for those who don't know- Ageha was only introduced in the manga, and even then she was only introduced as a thought by the author! I kind of loved the idea of the twins having a little sister and think how Machiko would interact with her later on. I did make her a little older than in the manga cause I wanted to build interactions with her later in the story and thought it would be easier this way 🤣.
Also, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! As I post this, this fic has almost a thousand reads! I'm so happy there are so many of that enjoy this story so much!

"This is where you wanted to take us?" Hikaru asked as we looked at the blonde hair girl in front of us- who was gesturing at the brick building that was standing at her back.
At breakfast, Machiko had insisted on dragging us out of the manor. She claimed that we shouldn't let the day pass us by since it was our birthday and that we should do something fun. Hikaru and I tried to tell her no, but nothing seemed to deter her.
It seemed, though, that she had a plan on what that 'fun' was.
"Yup!" Machiko beamed. "It's a retro arcade! They have so many different games here that all of us might enjoy."
I watched the way her hair tickled at her neck. She had tied her hair up in pigtails today, and the ends of them grazed her shoulders. She didn't notice how hypnotic this was, for she continued on.
"If we wanted to play video games, we would have done it at home." Hikaru said as anger radiated off him. It had taken some convincing to drag him out of the house.
Hikaru and I never really enjoyed our birthdays. When we were little, parties were thrown, but the only people that were in attendance were our parents' friends. It was rare for anyone our age to be there, which made it very boring.
The thing that got to me though, was how our parents never even bothered to show up. They were always too busy to celebrate with us and were typically handling business in another country. It made us feel as though neither of them cared about us- their own twin sons.
There was one year, though, where our parents promised they were going to be home on our birthday. They planned with our head butler to throw a party, inviting our whole class and grade to attend. And while Hikaru and I could have cared less about the party, we went along with it since our parents were going to be home.
That day, Hikaru and I waited for our parents upstairs, watching everyone mingle in the grass below through a window. We wanted to be the first to receive our parents, especially since we had viewed everyone as nobody back then.
