Chapter 12

Layla and Draco went into the great Hall taking a seat at the Slytherin table and piling theyre plates with food. The golden trio sitting across on Gryffindor table.
"Merlin Layla, Draco slow down why are you rushing?" Aurora asked.
"Because we havnt packed yet for Christmas break" Layla replied as If it was obvious.
"You guys have 2 hours surely that's enough time" Aurora said.
"In all fairness takes me an hour to pack my skin care products" Cedric waved his nail file as Draco scoffed.
"Ugh why do they keep staring" Draco spat pointing towards the golden trio.
"Calm down Draco, did you hear about St Potter fainting" Layla laughed.
Draco lent forward towards the three Gryffindors.
"Potter..... POTTAH is it true you fainted.... I mean you actually fainted" Draco taunted towards Harry.
"Shuv off Malfoy" Ron argued turning Harry back towards the table.
"Shut up you filthy ginger Weasley" Draco spat back.
"HEY!" Aurora shouted from the Gryffindor table offended. Layla kicked Draco under the table.
"It's easy to forget your a Weasley!" Draco threw his hands up in defence.
"Besides you look good with ginger hair" Draco pointed out trying to patch his mistake.
"Well in that case" Aurora and Draco turnt to Layla "how do I look Draco" Layla giggled changing her hair colour to ginger.
"I'd stick to your natural beauty" Draco lent over planting a kiss on her cheek.

"Right, we have two dorms to pack up we should get going" Layla said pulling Draco away from the table when he swiped a green apple off a first year.

"Draco..Really!" Layla shout whispered taking the Apple and giving it back to the first year then giving Draco his own.
"Have you seen how our mothers decorated our rooms yet?" Draco questioned.
"Nope it's a new house I havnt even been to the new manor" Layla shook her head.
After walking through countless amounts of corridors they entered Slytherin's common room.
"Draco we should use that new spell we where learning about yesterday" Layla exclaimed.
"You sure that's an advanced spell Layla" Draco placed his hand on her shoulder.
"100% I have a new found confidence today" Layla stated.
"Okay go ahead" he said passing Layla her wand from the draw.
"Netwayé" Layla flicked her wand then watching all Draco's essentials getting thrown into his trunk nicely organised.
"I like this new Layla" Draco raised an eyebrow.
"Hey Layla so when your eyes change colour does what you see change colour?" Draco questioned randomly.
"Um I don't know they've only changed colour twice"  Layla explained.
"Change them to yellow quick then read a few pages of this book" Draco said handing her a book Layla changed her eye colour and did as he said.
After 2 minutes or so Draco asked.
"How is it?"
"The pages are yellow they're easier to concentrate on more interesting looking being metamorphmagus seems to be having a few plus sides" Layla giggled then her eyes lighting up.
"I have an idea" Layla grinned.
"Careful those are dangerous" Draco laughed nervously.
"I wonder If I could control it now without the medication the ADHD I mean" Layla thought hard about it before Draco interrupted her.
"Absolutely not, havnt got a chance in the wizarding world" Draco grabbed Layla's waist pulling her up for a kiss.
"Darling dont risk it okay?" Draco said his forehead resting on Layla's.
"Promise" she pecked his lips.

After saying goodbye to they're friends Draco and Layla made they're way to the carriages to go home for Christmas.

"It's gonna be weird this year" Draco said playing with his hands in his lap.
"How so?" Layla questioned.
"Our fathers are in Azkaban, we won't see them over the holidays everything will be relaxed" he pointed out.
"And about time too anyway my father hasn't been around much in years" Layla huffed.
"Next county Wiltshire" the carriage said.
"Layla were nearly there!" Draco exclaimed.
"Eeeek" she shrieked.
"Bloody Nora never make that sound again it's an ear ringer" Draco laughed.
"Sorry love" she kissed his lips.
"At times like this I wish I didn't live in Wiltshire" Blaize laughed.
"You didn't have to come in our carriage" Draco scoffed.
"Your my next-door neighbour only made sence" Blaize quarreled.
"Now now lady's calm down" Narcissa and Larissa teased.
"Mother" Draco hopped out hugging Narcissa as Layla did with her mother.
"Mrs Lightheart, Mrs Malfoy" Blaize nodded before quickly running across the street to his house dragging a trunk behind him.
Larissa Lightheart looked around confused.
"Layla where is your brother!?" Larissa panicked.
"He said he was coming later" Layla chimed back.
Larissa nodded her head in understanding.
"Ok OK that's fine" Larissa replied back.
