chapter 23

That morning Layla's alarm went off the ringing sound screamed around the room that morning they were due to leave for Hogwarts as the alarm continued to ring, Draco got peticuarly hacked off with it to say the least he smacked his hand ontop of it in an attempt to shut it off but failing misserably he picked it up in his hand and went to launch it at the wall as he did so much at school Layla sat up and took it from his hand.
"Allow me" she sclowed at the alarm and smashed it on the wall making Draco smirk.
"Thats my girl" he laughed as they snuggled back into her duvet and fell asleep once more.

Two hours passed and the pair were still asleep Layla tangled tightly in Draco's arms a familiar sound made its way up to the room POP, house elves.
Layla opened one eye to see Minley stood beside the bed the small elf had come to collect them.

"Minley has been sent to collect you the dark lord is awaiting you both down stairs" and with that he dissapeared Layla took a moment to process what he said then jumped out of bed and quickly got dressed in black leggins and a black tshirt.
"SHIT SHIT SHIT" she cussed hopping around trying to get her sock on then realising Draco was still very much asleep she groaned slightly now regretting smashing the alarm clock had they got up then they would be running ontime.
"Draco quicky get up and get your black suit on hes calling us" Layla shook his shoulders panicked.
"Who is?" He asked half asleep and groggily Layla just yanked up her left sleeve that seemed to be enough to get the point across because Draco literally sprung off the bed across the hall into his room and back seconds later now in a suit and hair done. Layla stood slightly shocked.
"How.. -what..you-" she mumbled.
"Honestly you call yourself a witch Charms, now come on" he pulled Layla from her room then running down the stairs they stopped briskly at the dining room door to collect themselves before entering Laylas hand was clenched tightly to the wand behind her back, her and Draco being extremely nervous.

They entered the dark room and sat down in two empty chairs next to Lando.
"Your late" the dark lord hissed Draco clared his throat before apologising.
"Sorry my lord" they looked sheepishly at the table.
"Well we have a guest today i think you will both find raher familiar" he started as a woman appeared and hovered over the table at first glance she wasnt reccognisable in the dark light but her voice was it was soft and.... terrified.
"Severus please... we're friends" she cried Layla and Draco both snapped their stares to the side of voldemort one side sat Bellatrix the otherside a cloaked man they payed no attention to. The dark lord gave a dissaproving glare at Snape.
"Is this information true Severus?" He asked raising his hand slightly.
"No my lord" Snape replied.

Corward.

Thats when it clicked the woman was Proffesor Burbage the muggle studies teacher.
The dark lord went on to explain blood purity and that she felt purebloos should be incoraged to mate with them.

"Well this has been a nice renunion and all Avadakedavra" voldemort let these words slide off his tongue like they were nothing Layla watched as the women was hit by the green light and thumped onto the dining room table the same table she and her family ate breakfast, lunch and dinner on.

Well if that doesnt kickstart my appetite nothing will.

Draco's POV

I feel like being violently sick and puking all over this table at what was about to happen ive heard storys about a giant snake the dark lord owns as my father told me of them when i was young however i thouht they could never be true they were just storys what happened after proved that wrong.

"Nagini dinner" voldemort almost whispered.

Oh you have to be kidding me... surley no-

My thoughts were intereupted as the snake slid across the table past all of us and swallowed the women whole Layla flinched slightly so i took her hand into mine under the table, understandably she and her brother had the same look of horror on theyre faces as im sure was strawn across my own.
