Chapter 18 ⚠️ smut ⚠️

That evening at dinner everyone sat at the table with a box infront of them none of the friend group knew why or what these boxes were.
"Mother what are these?" Lando asked staring at the boxes around the table.
"Narcissa and I decided instead of stockings tomorrow morning we would try Christmas Eve boxes each of you has one" Larissa explained.
"Can we open them now?" Draco asked.
"Yes go on" Narcissa replied you could almost see a smile curling at her lips.

Everyone tore the tape off of they're boxes and opened them looking through all the little things in the boxes.
"What's a tic tac?" Aurora asked looking at a little clear box filled with.... Tablets?
"Hey look Aurora got birth control" Blaize joked as everyone laughed.
"Tic tacs are a muggle sweet Grandmother used to get me them" Layla explained.
"Gran never got me them" Lando furrowed his eye brows.
"Yeah but I'm her favourite" Layla shrugged as they continued to check out the contents.

Cedric and the girls mostly got nail polish, sweets, face masks and hot chocolate the boys were just slightly different things like quidditch magazines and bits instead of nail polish.
"I'm so excited for the morning I've got everyone pretty useful presents" Layla squealed her hair turning bright pink.

Draco's POV

Considering the fact that Layla has been trying to figure out what I got her for Christmas since the first of December I chose to keep her gift under my bed instead of the tree just incase she planned to snoop because I've definitely thought about the little bag she put under the tree with my name on this morning it's almost burning a whole in my head.

We put away all the little bits we got in our boxes and ate way too many sweets Cedric and Layla are bouncing off the walls embracing they're inner eight year old though that's not new for Layla. whilst Blaize, Theo, Remus, Lando and I went into the garden since Theo and Blaize both smoke Lando very recently trying it aswell my mother said they can do it while they stay here as long as it's outside which I'm grateful for personally I find smoking slightly revolting.

"Boys! Dinner!" Larissa yelled from the kitchen as we piled back into the room where Cedric, Layla and my mother were waiting I sat down in the seat Layla had saved for me.

"Planning on eating this meal?" Lando sniggered from across the table. I don't always like the way Layla and Lando treat each other but I don't have siblings so I wouldn't know how it works.

Everyone ate dinner and had left the table just Layla and I were sat at the table finishing up yet again she hadnt eaten a lot of it before she gave up.
"I've had enough" Layla said pushing the plate away.
"One more?" I asked putting my hand on her thigh she took another bite I had no choice but to be satisfied with that.

We put our plates in the sink so the house elves could wash up then went up to my room when we got into my room I finally caved I wanted to give Layla her present just the two of us. Special.

"Darling come here" I gestured to the place next to me on the bed Layla came and sat to my side resting her head on my shoulder.
"This is our first Christmas together" Layla said her deep grey eyes staring into mine and a small smile that warmed a room.
"Want your present?" I asked reaching for the box under my bed.
"Yes! Yes! Please!" She replied excitedly.
"Wait I need to grab something quick" she said jumping off the bed and running out of the room.
After five minutes she ran back in with the little bag I'd seen her with earlier this morning.
"Let's open them at the same time" I suggested we swapped presents and tore of the paper as I opened the bag there was a box in the bottom of it I pulled out the box and opened it to see a silver ring it had my initials on it D.M and a snake.

"Thankyou so much Love" I kissed her gently on the lips as she opened the box I gave her.
