Monday morning
"Love, wakeup we have mail from our mothers" Draco whispered to my ear.
"Why would my mother be writing me I saw her yesterday" I questioned confused.
"I don't know, let's read them quickly we have an hour before breakfast" Draco said throwing a letter with my name on.
Draco's letter read..
Draco my boy, I and your father would like to meet Layla we haven't seen her in years. Please feel free to invite Layla, her mother and father to the manor over Christmas break to stay we have room a plenty.

My letter read..
Layla Lightheart,
Layla we have an issue going on at home over the Christmas break you cannot return home your father is in trouble with the ministry please tell Lando that you are staying with Grandma.

"I-I can't believe this" I stammeered.
"What's wrong darling?" Draco asked sitting at the foot of the bed.
"My father, he's in trouble with the ministry again... That's it.. He's done it this time he will 100% be going to Azkaban now" I said feeing shocked but also slightly happy and relieved.
"Is that a good thing?" Draco looked at me confused he knows about my past with my father.
"Yes it means me Lando and mother won't have to deal with his shit anymore. Just means my mother will probably be rather lonely over Christmas" I was starting to feel guilty about spending Christmas with Grandma it's would be terribly boring.
"Well then I think you best read the letter from my mother might sort that issue out" Draco said handing me the black envelope I quickly skimmed over the writing..
