"Hey." I say down the phone,
"Hey Lin, what's up?" Arizona asks me,
"Nothing much really, how about you?"
"Eh, same to be honest. How are you and Mark?"
"Ugh, don't even ask."
"God, what happened now?" She laughs.
"We had an argument, he stormed off and I'm pretty sure he went back to New York."
"Well when is he coming back?"
"No idea, maybe never."
"I'm sorry Care."
"Eh, it's whatever. But, guess what?"
"What?" She laughs again,
"I'm coming to visit and I have a surprise." I tell her, I haven't had much free time to get the chance to speak to my sister... or tell her that I adopted a child... oops?
"Ohh, I'm excited!" She says happily.
"Okay, well I gotta go, We- I'll be there tomorrow morning. Love you Ari."
"Okay... love you too Lin." I hang up the phone, I almost slipped. "Eli, honey come here please!" I shout for him, he's currently playing with his toys in his room,
"Hey Care." He says running in,
"How do you feel about taking a trip to see someone?"
"Who?" He asks confused, "I thought I'd already met all of your friends?" He tilts his head to the side making me laugh lightly,
"This isn't my friend honey, it's my sister, your actual auntie. Auntie Arizona." I take out my phone and find a photo of me and her and show him,
"She's very pretty, almost as pretty as you Care." He says making me smile,
"Thank you sweetie. You wanna meet her?" He strokes his chin in thought making me laugh again,
"Okay." He says shrugging his shoulders.
"Great. You wanna help me find you some clothes and some toys to take with you?"
"Yeah!" He says running back to his room, me following.
"Can I take this book that Auntie Callie got me please Care, pleaseeee?" He asks dragging out the 'e' and giving me puppy dog eyes,
"Of course you can sweetie, you can take whatever you like as long as it all fits in the suitcase."
"Are you going in the car?" He asks, gathering some of his toys,
"Partly, were gonna drive the car to the airport and then get on a plane," I say, picking up one of his toy planes, "Like this one, and were gonna fly through the sky to see your Auntie Arizona."
"Really?" He asks looking at me excitedly, wide eyed,
"Yeah. You excited?" I ask,
"Yeah!" He shouts, jumping up and down.
"Hey Cal." I say, answering the door to her,
"Hey, what's up?" She asks walking in,
"Okay, so I'm taking a few days off work, I'm going to go and visit my sister. You wanna stay here while I'm away?"
"Sure, why not." She laughs, and Eli comes running in,
"Hi auntie Callie, can we go to the park Care, please? Mason said he was gonna be there today at 2." He asks me and I smile at him,
