Chuck came to me upset. Thomas I'm guessing. "He doesn't like me anymore mom I didn't do anything wrong. Why am I getting in trouble with him?" Chuck asked "he's just being moody Chuck, don't mind him. You've done nothing wrong and he knows that too." I replied as I seen Thomas walk toward us. "Hey Chuck, wanna play hide and seek for a while?" He asked looking very enthusiastic. "No thank you. I don't need your pity." Chuck replied walking away. "That. It had nothing to do with me." I said quickly "I know" Thomas replied before walking away. "Chuck just ROASTED him" Minho whispered coming towards me. "Yeah and best part is it had nothing to do with me." I sniggered back. We walked off to find the rest and tell them how Chuck flamed Thomas. "BABE?!" I yelled across the glade. "FIANCÉE?!" I screamed again "YES?!" Newt screamed back. "Found him" I giggled running to Newt. "Chuck FLAMED Thomas!" I laughed "really? What happened?" Newt asked curiously "Thomas came asking to play hide and seek then Chuck said and i quote "no thank you, I don't need your pity" then Thomas sulked off as Chuck walked away." I laughed "holy cow! Did you tell him to say that?" Newt laughed "no! I really didn't, he came up with it on the spot!" I replied proudly "definitely your son!" Gally laughed "hell yeah." I giggled back "y/n! Come here! Storm is eating the bin again!" Fry yelled. Damn it Storm. "Coming Fry!" I called back. I went to get Storm and she was in the bin."get outta there Storm! You're gonna get yourself in trouble." I sighed picking her up out of the bin, which was hard as she's a wolf. "Y/n!! Where's Todd?!" Newt yelled "wherever you left him Newt! He stays when you tell him too! Check our hut!" I called back as Storm walked out of the kitchen beside me very close to my heel. She does this if I'm stressed or somethings about to happen. She's circling me now which isn't new but it's rare. "NEWT?! WHERE ARE THE TWINS?! STORM IS CIRCLING!" I yelled "so? She always circles!" Newt called back "NO SHE DOESN'T SHE ONLY DOES THIS WHEN SOMETHING BAD IS HAPPENING SHE PICKS UP ON IT YOU KNOW THAT!" I yelled back rushing around to find the twins. She wasn't going crazy about the twins because Gally and Minho had them and T's kids. Todd. "NEWT?! DID YOU FIND TODD?!" I yelled "no why?!" He called back. "Storm search Todd" I whispered getting a bad feeling. Storm looked for a scent of Todd and found a toy we made him then tore off running. I ran after and found Todd in the lake unable to swim. "HOLY FUCK!" I screamed jumping in and getting him. He was okay just in shock I think. "Todd? Hey hey I've got you your okay" i cooed before I started crying. I carried him back to Newt in tears. Even though I think Todd is okay it was still a shock to see him like that. "WHAT THE HELL Y/N? WHAT HAPPENED?!" Newt yelled "he was in the fucking river Newt! I told you when you leave Todd you have to tell him to stay or he goes places he can't handle! He's tiny Newt he's still only the size of a cub!" I yelled back "gimme him" Newt barked "no. He doesn't even know where he is Newt!" I replied "woah what's going on?" Alby asked "nothing it's fine" I replied "No it's not, you're sobbing, soaked, freezing and holding- is he.. is he dead?" Alby asked shocked looking from me to Newt to Todd back to me "no- I don't think so- I think he's in shock. He almost drowned." I replied before breaking down. "Hey hey shh it's okay look GALLY! COME HERE!" Alby yelled "what's- what happened what did you do?!" Gally yelled seeing me sobbing "nothing. Todd almost drowned. I need you and the other builders to build a fence around the lake with a gate for the gladers to get in to it but I need it child proof so the kids can never get in and we can keep the pets safe" Alby said to Gally who nodded his head and turned around "ALRIGHT SLINTHEADS! WERE BUILDING A FENCE TO GO AROUND THE LAKE! GOT IT?!" He yelled and all the builders nodded their heads and got to work on the fence. "Newt get her inside and calm her down. You know what happens if she gets too upset" Alby said picking me up and handing me to Newt "hey heey y/n darling it's okay you're okay" Alby cooed before walking off. He calls all the girls darling since Teresa went into a depression episode about a month ago. "Baby shh it's okay see Todd's okay you're okay it's all okay." Newt cooed. He didn't know how cold Todd was. I don't know if Todd is breathing. "Newt I don't think he's breathing" I whispered "PUT ME DOWN PUT ME DOWN!" I screamed when I realised he wasn't. Newt put me down and I tried to feel if Todd's heart was beating. It wasn't. I started giving him CPR to get the water out of his lungs. He eventually got it all out and I was in hysterics. "CALM HER DOWN!" Jeff screamed seeing me stumble and fall as I stood up. "Hey baby hey come here shh you're okay. You saved him! You saved Todd! See look he's okay" Newt cooed frantic to calm me down. I could feel Todd squirm around in my arms and breath rapidly. "Todd? Shhh you're okay mommas here I got you I got you" I gasped rubbing him and calming him down which in turn calmed me down.

Newt's POV
I forgot to tell him to stay. How did I forget?!
Y/n has only now calmed down and refuses to let Todd out of her sight "no Newt. Not until the fence is done." She said for the ninth time this hour. "Y/n he needs to be left down" I sighed. She put Todd down but he quickly started to frantically paw at her to be picked back up. "I can't let him down. He's scared" she told me. "Okay okay it's okay I get it. C'mon we have to get the twins and ourselves and the other pets to bed sweetheart." I told her. She nodded and stood up to get the twins and put them to bed. Todd wouldn't calm down even though I was holding him. He was freaking out all the while Y/n got the kids settled and to sleep. He only calmed down when she stroked him and then when Lucy came in and he finally left Y/n leave him down on the bed. He snuggled into Lucy and whimpered for a bit. At least I think it was whimpering it was an odd sound. He fell asleep after a while and Y/n did too, cuddled into me as if she needed me to be right beside her at all times while Majesty lay beside her head on the pillow and Copped lay behind Y/n with his paw over her side. Storm was across Y/n's hip like ghost does with me the odd time. She looked so peaceful. I didn't mean to snap at her earlier I just got a fright seeing Todd like that and I know she did too.
